Thing is People want Quel’dorei High Elves. Not the Already playable Sin’dorei Elves.

Plus Blood Elves don’t have Half Elves into their Society.

That’d make far more sense than Alleria’s insistence that she’d bring Silvermoon back into the Alliance instead. I don’t think even the Alliance-aligned high elves would be too supportive about letting a bunch of void elves control the Sunwell.

So, the High Elf NPCs in classic, did you even notice them? Probably not, because they were Alliance NPCs. Did you notice the High Elves in the Burning Crusade? Especially the one that mocks you by saying “I’m a High Elf, not a Blood Elf. I’m not going to suck the magic out of you.” Did you fail to see the High Elves all over in WotLK? Now that is something I’d find hard to believe. Cataclysm? Pandaria? Warlords? Legion? And even now, in BfA?

The High Elves have always been there, on Alliance. As High Elves. Your shared history ended over 20 years ago. You are no longer a High Elf, and their history and your history has changed a lot since Kael’thas left for Outland.

I’d roll one just to have a high elf-hating high elf alt to post on the forums with, but I’d never pay up for a race change.
