I’ve overstuffed my toybox to the point that I’m having trouble finding anything in it.

i have too many alts to buy the gold-sink teleporters for each of them and anything that isn’t on all my chracters tends to be forgotten even if I have it. I do use boots of the bay now and then because I sort of went berzerk with the fishing derby a few years back. I do have a problem with any equipable teleporter that far too often I forget to switch back to my current gear.

I keep an array of hearthstones on my tool bar and use them regularly to get around.

I still miss my UO runebook library. In that game, one could mark hearthstone-like runes to any location in the world and organize them into books. I’d make each character a standard book of cities and character-specific book of things like rare resource nodes and then have a whole library of special locations locked down in my house that any of them could access if needed. Made the world feel richer, not smaller.

I didn’t read through the whole thread, but since I see the OP has a list of items that can teleport, there’s another I can add to the list. Its from archeology on Outland (draenic) called “The Last Relic of Argus” if I remember right. It has a long cd, and a variety of places it can take you by RNG, ranging from Feralas to Outland to Booty Bay.

Its a little unreliable, sure–but when it coincidently procs to take you to the place you most hope it does, its a great feeling! Sometimes I’ll click it when I’m bored just to see where I end up.

Oh–and since we’re on the subject of outland, get some timewalking tokens and buy ‘Ever-shifting mirror’ from the vendor in Shattrath when that event is active. its a toy that you can activate to lead you to a fixed portal in each of the zones in Outland (Except Netherstorm) and it will take you to the corresponding zone in Draenor (wod-era).

Its reasonably versatile in that you can get to the world boss Ruhkmar to try for the mount and in a snap, you can change tack and try for the phoenix from tempest keep, adding an application to the garrison hearthstone on alts that have it, and making Draenor easy to get to for newer alts that may not have an established garrison.

I’ll also add the Skull you can get from timewalking that teleports you to Black Temple if you sacrifice a critter!

Remember that any of the items that teleport you to Stormwind should teleport you to the portal room anyways as well.

Im all over the world when I play…so yeah…travel times matter to me more than someone running quests all day in BfA.
10 trips…x3 minutes…is how much?
And for 20 trips? 30?
That 3 minutes adds up.

I farm quite a bit actually, and recently hit the 400 mounts acheivement. I know how much time is wasted playing this game. To me, the 3 minutes is not a big deal

FLit to Dal-Over-Isles, then there’s a portal to the Paladin Hall in Dalaran (one for both Horde and Alliance). A few extra steps, but Light’s Hope is just an extra portal away.

classhall portals are only gonna be available if your on quest for em.

so basically anyone who did chain is already losing them.

Stop removing portals

I didn’t get a chance to verify it, but the plan was for the portals to show if you are on these quests. For the part that was brought up about things like Ironforge being removed from the BfA portal rooms, I don’t think that’s intentional and should be changed in future build. What content are folks doing in like CoT that the portal helps so much with? What about other areas? How much time do you think the new setup will add to your journey?

The items there total to 16 bag slots, and we can have up to 150 slots with the biggest bags. That is only 10% of your bag if you evne get all these items and have the big bags. I think the big ones cost around 8k at least on my server. There are also 30 slotters for 1k to 2k gold each. That is 120 extra slots

Thats what I said. Youre actually going to sit here and try to defend Blizzard forcing you to eat up bag space when those portals didnt NEED to be removed.
And the most hysterical part here is you are StILL PORTING to where you want to go. So YOUR world aint no smaller…youre just getting screwed on bag space for no good reason
