Players like you whine when you don’t get a freedom or pws. I’ve also been exalted and carried teams too. Didn’t immediately boycott the bg but when wsg became the thing to do I switched over with people that I was playing about with.
Actually, if you care. … You probably don’t most horde don’t.
But for those wondering about the bridge.
It would actually be a FANTASTIC holding point. Do you know why you havent had as many bridge standoffs while horde holds SP and Alliance holds their hut in classic?
Because when Horde takes the SPGY, instead of rezzing Alliance at their hut so they can use the bridge as a choke to hold you off for a long time: They rez in the cave behind SP. Which leaves their hut completely undefended and Horde free to mount up and cross the bridge uncontested and assault their flag.
We have said this for months now. And it never seems to sink in…
The bridge is only a choke when it comes into play… And it doesnt come into play as a choke until horde takes SP… But when Horde takes SP the bridge cannot be a choke if alliance spawns on the wrong SIDE of the bridge!
Understand?
I feel like Im wasting my time explaining this… But I did it anyway… Bridge would be a fantastic choke with the backdoor fixed IF the alliance were allowed to actually defend it. But they arent. When you die as an alliance player at the SP flag or even on the front half of the bridge, your body spawns back in the cave NOT at the Hut.
It’s a terrible term to describe what happens but the idea is that if alliance cap anything horde throw all their efforts at retaking ‘their’ tower or graveyard. They put all offense on hold till the tower or gy is orange again.
Our cave Rez is literally the worst graveyard in the game.
Horde cave Rez literally the best graveyard In the game.
No matter how much you preach some people don’t get AV at all.
Use that 20 man respawning cave and attacking from the high ground to retake stormpike before its fully captured. Endless tales of how caves spawning upwards of 20 people is so incredibly unfair when the horde use it when iceblood is under attack. And how attacking stormpike fromthe high ground makes it impossible to defend from the horde.
You have BOTH advantages now that have been attributed to the horde, and if there is any facade of not having a double standard, then recapturing stormpike should be trivially easy… because according to the Alliance, it is for the Horde.
And then once you have stormpike back, cleaning out and who went into DB instead of defending SP should be just as trivial.
We can talk about SP in a sec, what I need you first to do is acknowledge that the Bridge as an Ally chokepoint is bulls***.
You all like to try and change the subject when you get proven wrong like you just did…
“Bridge is the best chokepoint in the game! Alliance refuse to use it”
–Intricate explanation proving this wrong–
"Whelp, let me move these goalposts and change the subject rq–
Go ahead and cede your previous claim as false and THEN we can talk about SP.
Yes, you take back SP. I agree. Of course by then all those Horde have the First Aid Station and can defend it by using the bridge, one of the best chokes in the game. All they need to do is sit there, trap it, blizzard it, etc., and wait for the GY to cap.
And respawning at stonehearth when the die.
And suddenly the “Best chokepoint in the game” is actually Hordes property… Nevermind the fact that Horde can also attack SP from the “highground” too, and it still isn’t easy to take. But I don’t want to give him a way to wiggle out of this, So Im trying to force him to stay on 1 topic at a time.
And respawning at stonehearth when the die.
Still waiting on you to renounce the lie that the Bridge is some masterfully alliance chokepoint…
You are starting to look suspiciously like all the other folks who don’t debate in good faith. Prove me wrong…
Sure, some horde will die. They can get rezzed instead of tapping out, it’s not rocket surgery.
I fully agree that no one should be spawning in a cave when a grave yard is available. It is garbage that you’re forced to spawning the cave when you lose stormpike.
My tone about the bridge wasn’t serious, more mocking the people who said they were losing because of the back door, and are now finding new things to blame since the backdoor is finally being removed
That being said, in tired of the obvious double standards. When the horde do something, its completely imbalanced, but there
e Is always an excuse for why the Alliance cannot do the same.
Alliance can wait for a rezz instead of spawning at the cave? Sounds kinda silly.

Honestly, I’ve used the back door a few times to try to get around the horde using the bridge choke! It can be effective but, as I’ve said before, the back door doesn’t negate the bridge. And it’s a bit tougher to use as alliance because the horde tend to have more experience getting up there.
I’ve seen some Alliance back-door pros who use it to turn in rams
Alliance can wait for a rezz instead of spawning at the cave?
Nooo…why would you say that? If they were waiting at the SPGY spirit rezzer then they are sent to the cave automatically when the horde caps SPGY.
And why would they sit around waiting for a rez while SPGY is being assaulted? You want to try to catch that spirit rez so you can continue to defend.
Sounds about as silly as waiting around as a corpse in DB waiting for a rezz. I see a corpse and loot it for wingmaster meat.
If you are defending the bridge choke, you die, you tap out and go to SHGY. Or you can wait for someone on your team to rez you and you stay on the good side of the bridge. Which should you do?
As long as the bridge is getting defended you’re not getting looted and someone can rez you.
We use the same strat when we try to hold IBGY, we don’t release and hope they can Rez us instead of going all the way back to SPGY. Issue is we just get overrun at IBGY when you’re fighting twice the amount of rez’s and they are there in seconds.
I’ve “waited” around as my corpse at various locations, not really waiting as I was actually ghost running back to my body in order to bypass horde defenders.
It’s one of the ways that, despite being a warlock in bright red gear, riding a flaming horse I somehow usually manage to make it south of IWB even when horde are defending it. My body only gets looted about 40% of the time.
Funny note, someone asked me once where I was ghost running too and I told them back to my body behind Galv. Their reply was…“You can do that? I thought bodies despawned after 30 seconds”
Or get pincered by ally recalling after SP retaken. But at this point were just doing hypothetical rocket surgery at each other.
