So much for the prepatch event

I kinda wish they would have a voting system in place for more, but at the same time i look at the forums, and remember how bad the community as a whole is (the vast majority of the time) and cant help but wonder if we would sink the game faster than blizzard is already on its own. lmao

There’s no way there’s so many people willing to sit here and argue about preserving the exciting gameplay of going to the auction house for a limited time event that only happened twice before.

The fact that you cant understand that people don’t want to be forced into PvP in their own city says that you do NOT understand what the other side wants. Claiming its just about sitting in the AH is disingenuous.

Let me come in and shut down PvP in war mode and all BGs and Arenas for a month and tell all the players they need to not log in if they don’t like and see how well that goes over.

And many of us hated it then too and why we are speaking up now.

No, it objectively does not inconvenience you this much unless you hard-focus on getting upset by it. I don’t believe you, sorry. I think this is just a karen movement.

It’s impossible for you to allocate this much thought toward a temporary event. It’s not true.

Which is why it could’ve been Warmode opt in, but instead it’s a laughable, sad event not worth doing or subbing for.

Remember when Blizzard made Argent-themed armor with a Scourge-slaying set bonus?

Remember tier sets?

Remember when new content was made from scratch instead of recycled assets?

It’s all but a memory now.

You were playing “THE” mmo on the market, but now it’s like a visit to McDonalds instead. Leaves more to be desired.

I remember when I would deliberately ruin my life over this game, needless to say that won’t happen anymore lol

This isn’t a pve only game.

So last question and I think I know your answer but let’s ask. You support PvPers who don’t want to PvE for gear?

Like I said before, I’m not one to grief anyone. I don’t see the joy in ruining someone else’s experience.

I’m throwing out ideas for the event so we can all kill zombie NPCs together while making sure those who don’t want to flag, don’t.

I will add I appreciate civil conversation about this too cause you know how it can be around this joint.

I don’t choose to do as little pvp as possible?
I don’t choose to raid?
I don’t choose to not do pokemon?
I don’t choose to not do dailies anymore?
I didn’t choose my class/spec/race?
I don’t choose what mount to ride?
I don’t choose what weapons to use?
I don’t choose to farm xmogs?
I don’t choose to pug sometimes?

I could go on but damn it seems like I have a lot of choice of what I do or don’t do in game. Funny how that works out huh.

Just because you can fully ignore them, doesn’t mean it not breaking the norm. Pet Battles break the norm if you participate in them and their about as optional as literally almost anything in this game. (The forced stuff is PvE like questing, leveling up and attacking enemy mobs)

If you think it doesn’t break the norm for you, that’s fine. If i think it does break the norm for me, that’s fine. It’s just a difference of Opinion. Agree to disagree. :man_shrugging:

You should still have the choice to participate if you find it fun or not. You should ideally play the parts of the game that you do find fun and don’t play the ones you don’t, not 100% love everything in the game or 100% leave it if you just hate one part.

Even if they hate world events… can i ask why does that matter so much to you? If the person doesn’t find world events like that or any of them fun, it doesn’t mean they hate World of Warcraft and need to play another game, they just find one part of the game unfun and they don’t want to participate in it. Really simple as that. I don’t find visions fun, despite being really easy. Or Instanced PvP, i don’t really enjoy that either. That doesn’t mean i have to leave WoW. WoW is one of those games where there’s always something to like about it.

Personally to me, while i’m not a PvPer, i really don’t like how PvPers need PvE gear to stay competitive, and i honestly think that should change. While this does bar me from PvP because i do enjoy it sometimes, i do think it’s pretty silly that gearing via PvP isn’t a viable option to a lot of PvPers.

Fair enough too.

Well that’s good. I mean dinner is more important then debates, so i’l see you whenever you have the time to reply. I’m having Hotdogs and Mac and Cheese for dinner. :yum:

Not really sure why you phrase it like that, especially after you told me that your gonna make dinner, which means that you won’t be replying until you are done eating or really whenever you feel like it. So enjoy the dinner.

And for some of you, don’t get it twisted when i said that. I’m using that because i recognize that’s just how internet chatting in general works. You can say “hi” and a year from now, somebody will eventually say “hi” back to you.)

You choose to subscribe.

I recommend not choosing to subscribe during a time of gameplay not catered to you. No, instead you have to be THAT guy.

And it is pretty undebatable that everyone who complained against this event is THAT guy.

Which is EXACTLY what I asked for in the original thread and was called a care bear and much worse, told I was crying and to just not log in.

Well the people that refused to compromise got exactly what they wanted a watered down even for your side.

I didn’t want this and actively fought to have both our sides represented - as I have said in many of these threads win / win.

Its just the PvP mentality doesn’t understand win / win. They seem to believe in order for me to win, someone else has to lose. They pushed that and it seems like they “lost”.

And no I am not happy they “lost” I am not a griefer - I don’t enjoy others being mad or unhappy.

what if they made it an acheivement to participate as a zombie, get a reward like a tittle "The rotted one"that would make more people opt into doing the event rather than avoiding it at all costs and all that right?

I agree 100%

Disapppointment is an understatement.

Players today can’t be bothered with any slight discomfort or challenges so companies nerf events and game designs.

Example: The stupid #Pulltheripcord, getting rid of PVP servers and so on, SMH.

Its getting to the point of why play :disappointed_relieved:

You won and you’re still crying, so they weren’t wrong.

Another poorly handled situation on Blizzards part IMO

Blizzard could have made the whole zombie thing a warmode deal. Boom, solved.

Good! I don’t want to zombiefied or killed. Sounds annoying!

Don’t go to a concert and complain about the noise, it makes you look super foolish.

again this is more proof of why casuals have become a cancer to the games we love. they are ruining content that should be hard and with pvp and other things in it.

really casuals go play the latest garbage by bugthesta or on micrsofts rip-off pass. thats more for you people.

Maybe. Right now there is NO reason to do it.

If it existed like the original, all people like me got were lack of access to cities and killed over and over. Negative experience overall. Nothing positive. I don’t find killing other players fun so no being a zombie on its own isn’t enough for me.

If they want people like me to participate, give us a reason. PvP ghouls do not do it for me.
