It’s a temporary event. Every analyzed reaction to it is by default an overreaction.
Don’t play during the event. I see you get mad when the answer is plain and undebatable. That’s what I find funny.

Looking in a mirror must be. My sub’s up in 5 days. I don’t cry. I just take my business elsewhere like an adult. I especially wouldn’t be on here rubbing people’s noses in what happened while trying to play victim. So sad.

Ehhh… I mean yes but if the goal is wanting to incentivize players to keep being opt in, you actually might need more then just titles really.
Like zombie skin customization options for normal non DK characters.
Or just a toy that turns you into a ghoul for 60 minutes.
Or a cosmetic ghoul costume to tmog over in pits and bobs.

I am mad and with so much good reason. There’s usually no good reason to be mad in general, but you people are going to a place and complaining about that place, it’s inexcusable, and the attempts to make you sound innocent and victimized when you’re performing an offensive action is annoying to the core.
Literally just say you want to spite people, steal kids candy and pop balloons, this is on the exact same level, and you’re not fooling anyone with the polite muh gameplay act.

I got ganked a lot too back in the prepatch for wrath. but i still had fun (: i remember it was the first time in stormwinds history that it actually had a damn storm roll through, ever notice that? it never rains in a city named STORMwind like come on! i want some awesome weather in my cities give me the ambient lighting! and all that jazz. make weather systems great again! xD so off point now

ffxiv is a great game with tons of content and a wonderful community.
Yet, I wanted to play the event with or without pvp,either way and I get mobbed ,You really can’t win either way.
You are hilarious because the simple answer was to just make it an opt-in event but nooooo just can’t have any compromise. Well, the big boys at blizzard decided that they don’t want to exclude the majority of their players by allowing them to be harassed in game by others.
I feel so sad for you that you can’t wrap your mind around the fact that you are in the minority on this issue but i’m glad that Blizzard realized it. The fact you think all reactions to the event were overreactions is very telling. There was plenty of good ideas and reasonable conversation about it. You seem to be the one overreacting with your all or nothing attitude. I almost feel sad for you…almost.

mates lets just all realize that in the end, the only way things change is if blizzard decides to change it, all the things we suggest here (unless someone reports someone elses response) will probably go unread and unseen by those who are able to actively change the way this event is going to happen. does it suck zombies got nerfed hard ? yes, is it nice that people who wish to not participate in this event have that choice ? yes. Are we all people who want to have fun in a game that i assume most of us enjoy (even if this game has bitten me more times than i like to admit) PROBABLY. point is lets not go to bed mad at one another. tis a game, this is that games forum lets be frens <3
