Not sure the hype over content that is not progression content in the first place. This entire game is only about that, period. The rest is dumb stuff I won’t do.
How else do you describe the desire to make this PvP event non-PvP besides wanting to kill PvE players?
And on the PTR, when the event was active, it really was zombies 100% of the time, which made post-Exile’s Reach impossible to play

At any rate i agree its a shame the event got nerfed so bad, more concerning is the increasing frequency blizzard caves in to this stuff so easily anymore.

Like I said in the other posts. I wanted a win / win situation.
I get my PvE shard and you get your PvP shard, but you were not happy with that. Said I was selfish for giving you what you claimed to want (and are asking for now) .
I am not happy with the outcome. I am not a griefer like the other side is. I don’t take pleasure in other discomfort

Actually we asked for an opt in and you guys stomped you feet saying it’s not fair that people can opt out of cities being unplayable.

I don’t believe that. You’ve been playing wow a while now yes? When have you EVER seen Blizzard NOT go to the extreme when “fixing” something. Whiners complained and the event got nerfed to the ground. Nerfed to nothing just like I figured it would.

Exactly your mentality as well. Don’t be a hypocrite. Also, I wasn’t one of those who said “chaos for everyone”, I was very willing to compromise and I was fine with the opt-in option. And Blizzard did make the event only opt-in, but at the same time destroyed it in War Mode as well. That’s not compromise.
Don’t put us all in the same bucket.

Not a hypocrite, I just am a spiteful vengeful person. If people want to be rude to me when I ask for a compromise. Don’t expect me to not give them a taste of their own medicine later down the line.
Then you are one of the few people who do not go in that category of whiners.
And now you see why I don’t like PvP or most that do it. It ALWAYS win or lose. Me or you. Pass or fail.
I play MMORPGs because for the most part, they are co-op games where people work together, not against each other. maybe old school players like me are just rare.
I don’t enjoy the event, this is true. But the main goal of that post was to ask for a opt in/opt out. At that time the brigade of people flaming others for wanting an opt out was already in full force. So I’m glad they crippled the event. Keep whining though. It’s great.

Well then explain this quote please. I agree with the opt in part, but why would it be better to delete the entire event? If the event was opt-in, you wouldn’t have to participate in it, so why would you still want it deleted? Stuff like this make Blizzard nerf things across the board without compromise.

Honor level is account wide. You can see my honor level is 7. I don’t have any arena achievement nor do I do arena. I don’t even do random BGs.
I’m about as far removed from being a pvp fan as you can be.
I just wanted some chaos for everybody for a microscopic time frame but whiners can’t even let that happen.
