Because when the people who didn’t want to get tanked asked for the PvP part to be in war mode only, people on the PvP side threw a fit. They screamed it isn’t fair if they cant kill people that didn’t want to PvP.
Blame the ones who couldn’t compromise.
People like me against the event tried to compromise.
Except PvP was always opt in?
The removal of PvP servers was just the result of catering to a bunch of crybabies that didn’t want to play on their dead pve servers, but also didn’t want to be mildly inconvenienced now and then on a PvP server.
No, it’s a pretty clear cut case of blame the whiners.
Facts. The event should have just happened as it did back then. That was the entire point of the event. Bring some classic WoW to a new Gen…turns out the new Gen just can’t handle it
They should have had a temporary tabard called PPE you could be given by an argent dawn nurse that kept you from becoming a ghoul. There were better ways to do it.
Some people don’t have fun the same way you do
And now one group of people gets ZERO fun while the other group gets exactly what they want. Sounds real fair to me. 
Well, I didn’t want them to nerf the absolute heck out of the event. I just wanted it to be opt-in. Then both groups could have their fun

LOL as someone who was 30 when EQ launched and 35 when WoW did (and I played both ever since) I am about as old school as you can get.
I rarely PvP as that its a new thing you console kiddies seem to like
I wanted this event to affect the entire world. Like you know…a WORLD event. Now it’s neutered beyond recognition.
If all they did was make it Warmode, then it’s a non-issue, Warmode is world-wide

Who said I’m the victim? I’d probably take part in it, you’re making assumptions. I just don’t think it’s right that people who want to test out their new class changes and stuff of the like don’t get to play the game for a week because I want to be a zombie
