Example 1: You acting childish, then calling someone else childish.
Example 2: You telling people not to bring politics into the discussion, then proceed to use political ideology. Then rationalize it with your opinion of it not being political, you just “Being a good person” which was false virtue signaling. Others would see removing someone’s freedom of expression as being an evil narcissistic person who needs to be in control of others, not a “Good person” just for your info.
Fact is Blizzard already has a tool to combat these issues, you don’t need to advocate for them to do more. They gave a solution to the problem that allows people both, freedom of expression and the ability to block people if you don’t like their humor or the way they speak to you. If you aren’t using the tool, that is your own fault. Don’t advocate for more Blizzard action when you aren’t even using the tools they gave you.
The last thing we need is more moderation and restrictions on communication. Take Final Fantasy for example where people demanded just that. Final Fantasy is now to the point where you can’t even give people advice on how to do better damage with their class, explain boss mechanics, or try to be helpful in general because any criticism and or quest spoiling (aka helping guide someone through a quest that it looks like they are struggling with, cant find the mob, cant find the quest item, or just stuck on) is seen as harmful to the player and an offense that results in account suspension. It promotes people just not communicating at all in an MMO in fear of being suspended.
So yes when people advocate for more Communication policing I think about Final Fantasy, I will always speak out against it.

Example 1: I have made no childish acts, I have not had any rants or or tantrum like you. I have stated that not everyone finds racist jokes funny or fat shaming amusing, etc. These are facts and I stand by the facts and live by the facts every single day.
Example 2: It is true. If you are a good person, you are a good person. Political leanings don’t make you a good or bad person. You insisted and supported I brought in some left leaning policy, and I stated I didn’t and that I knew people from both sides that didn’t find any of it funny nor warranted which therefore debunked your whole “leftist” remarks.
If you like making body shaming jokes or find racial slurs funny or whatever else you enjoy - knock yourself out but I won’t participate and I won’t listen to it. I don’t have too ever and those are my rights and freedoms.
Neither one of these are hypocritical - learn the use of the word correctly.
Nor do I, and you don’t have to, Block feature exists. I also don’t let it ruin my day when it happens and take to the forums advocating for removing freedom of expression.
Both examples I gave depicted you as a hypocrite. Here’s a term I’m sure you are familiar with to describe what you keep trying to do when moving the goal post to make it seem as though you weren’t being hypocritical, “Man-splaining”.
Man-splaintion 1: You were being childish, talking in circles all you want won’t change that. In fact you are still being childish now.
Man-splaintion 2: Shifting the goal post from “I didn’t use politics” to “It’s not politiccs it’s being a good person”. Nothing about removing someone’s freedom of expression is good, you can call it being a good person all you want to make yourself feel better. You have the choice to block them, you have the choice of letting their words control your day, but instead you are choosing the most sinical and selfish route and are just completely removing their choice and keeping hold of your own. I guess him insinuating that I’m a child and throwing a tantrum isn’t intended to be an insult? Guess If we ignore that anything that follows would be me instigating it? I guess having differing points is me instigating it? Guess I shouldn’t wear a skirt then or I’d be asking for it?
Secondly, The issue is he decided to start a crusade and advocate against bullying, racism, and body shaming by advocating for more blizzard involvement which makes him a Hypocrite since he also partakes in what he is advocating against.
All “Choice cuts” means to me is the future removal of chat from the game entirely. It doesn’t just stop with removing body shaming, racism, bullying. It keeps going to jokes you don’t find humorous, political takes you don’t like, using other languages than English, criticism or advice how to dps/heal/tank better, asking for mage food, a healer asking the tank to let them drink because how dare you tell him how to play the game, and eventually as stupid as spelling and grammar errors.
Just like in Final Fantasy where it started with jokes/humor/bullying/politics it then turned into you can’t criticize players for their errors so they don’t repeat them next pull, you can’t help someone with a quest because it spoils the quest for them, you can’t ask a player to use a defensive cooldown or healing cooldown on specific mechanics, you can’t give advice to anyone on how to play their class to preform better EVEN IF THEY ASK YOU FOR IT.
Point is Blizzard has a method to block people so you don’t have to deal with their communication. Use it and don’t turn a MMORPG into a game that feels like a single player game with advanced AI bots by advocating for more chat moderation like the Final Fantasy community did and state endlessly that they regret it.
