ESO is a fantastic game, and is worth playing through the main campaign, if only for the amazing voice acting of John Cleese.
I’m gonna get flamed for recommending this, but FF14 is a very casual friendly MMO. High end raiding with FF14 is tough sure, but for the most part, it is a very clean, and organized game, that tells you where to stand and what to click. It feels like a choreographed dance when everything clicks.
FF14 is mostly PVE. With that being said, some jobs (classes) have faster “haste” values, like Ninja for example, but for the most part things are slower. Not to say it isn’t big brain, classes like Black Mage or Summoner take some thinking, but I never feel frantic like I do in WoW.
I max leveled almost all jobs during Stormblood, and completed all raid content. For Shadowbringers I stopped playing when Shadowlands dropped.
A lot of what you talk about is either a misunderstanding, which is fine because you’re new, or an emphasis on what I would coin as the wrong thing.
Look, I’m a guild master, right? We heroic raid, we PvP, etc. I would never tell one of my people to suck it up and download raider io because raider io is a tool for the pug world. You talk about the social aspect of an MMO being gone because your friends stopped playing, but there’s nothing stopping you from networking and finding a group of friends / community who will enjoy the game with you. If you like WoW, then you should do that.
Because WoW is meant to be social. You complain about the social factor being gone, but you are meant to be social in this game in order to get anything really done. That’s why I said you should find a guild.
Probably because people like to make their own groups for the slightly more challenging content, and it is good game design to allow them to do so.
7 days is fun, devs really good about updating the game, it’s come a long way.
Also, FO76 has been rather good this passed year.
Like, shocking I know, but it’s one of the best open world multiplayer games available atm.
And I guess MHW is always available.
Why would I give you my gold? I was fairly clear that if things improved, I’d come back.
If you’re going to troll, at least make some effort.
It just sounds like to me that you are starting to realize how pointless playing an MMO really is and too many other players take the game far too seriously. I have been there, and I can assure you, it is not just a WoW problem. You are not going to find a magical MMO alternative. All games are pointless and too many of their players take the game too seriously to just have fun.
Cause you voted for Bernie and I’m poor and you’re not using it.
I have your same concerns OP.
Ever since most of my friends, guild mates, and people I was aquatinted with on my server disappeared I really don’t have a desire to play the game anymore.
Most of the players I have met that I did play with a few times I did it through the dungeon finder. I haven’t met anyone that I was playing with through LFG at all. It’s literally get in. Clear. Leave. Dungeon Finder I found a few that were like “Wanna requeue, that was fun.”
Grim Dawn and AoE2 DE are what I’m into at the moment while my sub ticks down. GL OP.
I’d rather play chess or read a book than play SL. Not happy with this xpac thus far. As a ultra casual player, who enjoys random BG’s and low level arenas, this xpac has been just a nightmare. I get insta-deleted now. It’s not engaging, it’s not enjoyable in the least. I rage quit in under 30minutes every time…it’s really frustrating.
My casual play mostly consist of running Randoms after a hard days work for fun. I’m just getting dumpstered in under 2 seconds now. Not fun. Sub rogue can literally delete me in 1 second flat.
My Sub ends in 9days. Won’t be returning anytime soon unless something changes with the game to make it more appealing to a casual in regard to PvP.
FYI: overall I enjoyed BFA (minus 8.3) and Legion light years better than this mess!
You’re not great at this trolling thing, bud.
You’re not great at the game, or you wouldn’t be unsubbing.
I’m saving for a spider mount, can you give me your gold or not?
You still dont have a spider mount? Can’t relate. Sounds like you’re not good at the game.
There are aspects one can be good at, and not make a lot of money. One must do what fulills themselves, and sometimes, that means one does not become rich.
So can I have your money or what
No. You don’t meet my criteria.
Are not… geared?
Agreed. Though I’m done with Activision, not necessarily Blizzard. Blizz still tries to care. They just sold out to the wrong company.
Welcome back saw you today my friend
