āgatedā is a big word. It will locked behind a renown progression.
So if they say it will be available with Renown 40, you will know exactly when it will be available.
3 weeks worth of campaign? Then treat it as flying release 3 weeks later. Weekly campaign takes an hour anyway.
So there will probably be a renown max limit increase, and then weeks of doing those.
I really think youāre right. Deep down I think it will be used as a way to lock people in for subs. Why give it to us like they did in TBC, when they can string us along.
All we know is āreownā and ā9.1ā meaningā¦they could increase reown to get flying as well as more. Donāt expect flying day 1ā¦they will make you do more.

I raid and do M+, just started getting into PvP.
Outside of PvP loot drops are absolutely abysmal. Anyone enjoying this scarcity is insane, PvE loot in its current state is the worst its ever been meanwhile PvP is at its best.

You know, 97.43679 stats are made up.
I did not play Legion. But a little a bit of BFA (got to 120 and was like see ya) and then tried SL got to ilvl 190 right after CN dropped. Then I jut didnāt feel like playing anymore.
But from what I can tell it seems like the game is pretty much set on this Legion expansion. From all that Iām reading not much was added to the game since Legion in terms of mechanics or anything different to do. It sounds like a lot of this is just the same game with different named things in them.
Iām considering it.
I stayed subbed all of BfA and actually found the zones interesting.
While I enjoyed the storyline of the covenants I am finding that I literally have no real desire to do anything.
I have no real desire to go to the Maw.
Torghast is okay, but I also only mildly enjoy it.
M+ is, well, M+. Itās okay with a good group of people you can have fun with.
I havenāt been able to seriously raid since LK.
I am not enjoying World Quests in SL. The disconnection of the zones isā¦ actually annoying. The storyline feels incredibly flat and segmented. There seems to be no real purpose for the other covenants to exist to you (at least as Night Fae) ā I know other covenants have dealings with the Night Fae in their storyline).
Itās weird as I really enjoyed SL at first.
But, I am honestly bored. Like really bored. Nothing jumps out to me as something I want to do and it feels incredibly tedious when I do try to do the content that is available.
(Why are so many WQās chainsā¦? I absolutely despise having more objectives added once I ācompleteā the objectives shown)

I have 6 hours left. Not gonna sure if I will re-up to play old content with my son or just go to another game.
I just did a month with FFXIV but playing solo was not as fun.
I might try F2P SW:TOR or EQ / EQ2. I would give EQ sub money as itās always been worth it.
I hear they have a progression server too. I would try and hop on that come to think about it.
Iām on the fence right now. My sub is cancelled, so Iām just buying a month at a time for now.
I unsubbed after the first week of SL, I just came back only having fun thanks to my guild so weāll see how long this last
I did the 20th anniversary one. I leveled 1-50 by joining a guild a month before launch and forming a leveling group. It was a lot of fun, till my group kinda broke up. Most were disabled people who played all day and literally couldnāt wait until noon their time for the group to start just hunting for stuff after hitting max level.
I miss that style of leveling to be honest. I loved the slow pace of EQās combat and sitting around BSing with people while we pull Mobs to our camp site.

People joke about Netflix, but that kind of play, like you say, has itās charm. You can talk and create bonds or chill and watch some tv while still progressing.
My sub is up on the 24th and I have no plans to return. I think I was just excited to have something to do during Covid / Winter when this first released. However, now after a month + in I can see that this is shil of the game that I once loved. It plays more like Diablo3 with some iPhone apps built in as side features.
Not for me, and maybe its a sign that my style of gaming has gone the way of the dinosaurs (36).

That was Warlords Of Draenor not Mists Of Pandaria.
Edit: And by that i mean they had their usual sub loss at the end of the expansion for Mists in hind sight (i started in MoP) but they still showed sub numbers. They didnāt stop showing sub number until six months after WoD went live when it tanked and six million players unsubbed.
Personally, Iāve already unsubbed, if only because I wanted to play FF14 and canāt justify to myself subbing for two games. Paying through gold now.
However, Iām really starting to feel underwhelmed and daunted with SL. The WQās and them adding objectives once youāve finished the original, onesā¦ annoying to the max. WQ rewards arenāt that good either, with anima or gear (and Iām currently max renown). Plus the Calling rewards, mostly junk that sells b/w 1500-2000+ gold. I might get a useful conduit to upgrade, but mostly itās for specs I donāt play, and I canāt sell those things, or DE, or anything with them. So, where is the reward?
The Maw, hate it for the most part. Dying and losing currency for that!?!?! WTH, when did Blizz become so punishing?
Torghastā¦ was way bad, then it got worseāwas basically unplayable for my spec/class, and a few othersāthen they finally āfixedā it, but kept the elite door bosses. Why am I wasting my time in there again? Ohā¦for a pittance of another currency and thatās it (did TC once, NOT going back in that frustrating time sink again just for cosmetics and an ugly mount I can deal without. PS. Beware the chain bridges!)
Raiding? I only do LFR, itās less toxic than actual raiding. Butā¦ with my covenant gear maxed out, and supplementing my < 200 gear, why will I do the first two wings this coming week? And will the next wing rewards out gear my covenant gear?
M+, I do casually. Not looking for toxic groups. And yet, too many low keys are looking for high too high ilvls for that key. But when i do get into groups sometimes itās a chore and not worth the maybe reward.
World bossesā¦ again, usually no reward. I donāt think Iāve gotten a World boss reward on this character yet, and Iāve been doing them since the 1st/2nd week they were available.
PvPā¦ Iām okay with it, but stillā¦ the better gear is locked behind Rated content rewards, and to do that, you either have to have a certain CR score (which mine is low) or find friends/a guild that will play them with you. (These are Rated BGs btw, still havenāt had luck getting into any groups, yoloās included)
So, this is where I am. Itās either the community gating me, or Blizzard. And with all these gates, Iām left wondering, why am I playing? Why am I trying to keep up when the content I play (or am able to play) I out gear and the rewards, well, arenāt rewarding?
TL/DR:
Blizz made it unrewarding for time/effort spent, then the community gates itself with the content that might be rewarding. All this = wondering why I play at all.

Iāve been in your situation. What I do, is go find my post and quote it for them. The burden of proof is on the accuser, and you have no obligation to prove yourself to him, but I see most things on these forums as a discussion rather than the court of law.
My comment on you being unreasonable extends to your take on MoP a well, so take that as you will.
D. State that youāre not trolling, and either delve deeper into the topic, or if Iāve talked about it plenty I can go find a post I made on it in the past and quote myself. I have done this.
