I unsubbed and only have 5 days left. The game doesn’t fulfill my fantasy as any class and it just takes too long to farm my soul ash. I like to make alts and gear some and feel that I can’t really catch up if i switch off my main at all. Sorry blizz i was really excited and was having fun and then torghast and the awful class balancing threw me off.

I chuckle at myself, though I only have until a few days into March.
Most of my errors in judgement occur because I am too hopeful. I thought SL sounded like a cool idea and they couldn’t mess it up THAT bad.

I feel you, I went for the long con in Cata, sign up for a year get Diablo free and this cool mount! WOW! Yeah, I didn’t play for 7 months of that year, I could have cancelled, but man that mount was cooooool!
I still ride it though, so maybe worth it ?

I won’t unsub, but the amount of effort I’ve begun to apply weekly has reduced dramatically since week two of mythic+. What kills me is how low the drop rate loot has become this expansion compared to the last 1-2. Imagine clearing 7 Castle Nathria bosses on heroic with your guild, and not one piece of loot drops for you? Naturally, your guildies need their drops because loot’s hard to come by. So what ends up happening is the experience just feels unrewarding. Running multiple M+'s and not getting a reward is also a terrible thing to go through. And I’m not much of a fan of PvP suddenly becoming the easiest and most consistent way to gain gear upgrades. So here I am to vent my frustration to the public! lmao

I’m on my 6-month subscription which runs out in early May, May 5th actually, if memory serves. I have canceled the auto-renewal. Before that comes up I am expecting some form of content patch, will it keep me engaged to continue? Hard to say, I’m open minded but if not, I’ll just unsubscribe for a while. I don’t know what else to play though.

Assuming this wasn’t rhetorical, I would hazard its because Blizz knows its quite possible large segment of the player base would look at the time investment (including travel)/effort was not worth the reward and would not do the WQ.
Once you’ve already committed the travel time and initial effort of clearing the part you knew about, you’re more likely to think, the heck with it, I might as well finish it.
I have unsubbed. I did not purchase SL. I pop a token for time when I feel like it and mess with alts in old content.
This is also where I stand. Its not about the cost. Its about sending a message. Actiblizz appears to only respond to revenue loss these days, so im voting with my wallet.

The problem is, even as a casual it’s way less rewarding, a few mates of mine dropped off because even to upgrade covenant gear you need to grind anima…
Traveling currently in Shadowlands is the biggest time sink… they despise M+ since loot scarcity, Great Vault loot roulette. Nothing absolutely nothing feels rewarding, even the covenant campaign finishes like a 10 year old wrote it and that’s how it will be for a couple months till 9.1 which is estimated for a March release as they havnt even begun ptr testing.
It definetly isn’t a fun friendly casual game, they’ll spend about the same time trying to grind WQs as anyone else and spend the same time flying everywhere.

Please leave at once, good riddance, and you don’t have to announce it. I know the grasshopper players that consume the content in 1 week then have nothing to do but to complain and cry. Leave the game for us, the majority of regular players, we are the ones keeping Blizzards lights up anyways.
Yeah, the game mostly feels like garbage right now. I have seen people quit doing M+ and only PVP now.
Even the renown catchup bug is completely retarded!
I unsubbed. All my other RL friends unsubbed too… the only difference is I still go in to raid night until my sub runs out. My friends don’t even care to do that. Basically complained there is no loot for the runs. Lol

Well, I respectfully disagree about it being less rewarding, at least to me and my very casual playstyle. This is an MMORPG, I have fun just being in the world and it is nice to also have things to do. So far SL is providing me both. I may even do some LFR, you never know 
I’m not competing with anyone, been there, done that, have the scars to prove it, and am really not interested in ever taking any game seriously again

I agree with you, everyone has different experiences, theirs some people who absolutely love it and some don’t, just so far my experiences hasn’t been as positive as yours

Doesn’t gear just feel so meaningful when the single drop you get is one you already have?
