In the end, the combat flows a lot better than WoW’s without 112125125 RNG procs and millions of random unpredictable numbers which make it impossible to tell where from or how or why it appeared on screen.

Your opinion. Guess the many of us that experienced it is slow must be wrong and you are right. Even the FFXIV White Knights admit the combat is slow until max level. So /shrug

Either way, for me, FFXIV is a pretty bad game overall. Doesn’t feel like an open world mmo. Immersion is horrible due to all the loading screens and small zones and invisible walls along with insanely long cut scenes at times.

I had some fun in FFXIV but overall, I do agree with your feelings and yes, combat was slow until end game and IF you decide to stack skill/spell speed.

And why did you have to bring up the long cut scenes? I worked hard to forget about that very odd inclusion

Yes, there’s a playable race that looks like a fridge there as well, perfect for the US gamers to feel immersive and physically represented in game.
