So Horde Council

Nothing beats this Garrosh moment. Aside from Garrosh’ Shadowlands moment, of course.

That aside… how the hell can people play with such lag?! Damn.

Alliance players: “Sure the Horde’s NPC’s have been slaughtered by the writing team over the years. But by golly, we had a quest with a ROBOT CAT in MoP, surely that balances things out.”

Yes, because the answer to that wasn’t, “give the Horde new stuff,” it was, “destroy some Alliance stuff and call it a day.”

Obligatory, “Blizzard wouldn’t know Balance if it danced in front of them like an Ogre in feathers,” joke. Granted that one is mostly for class balance.

In terms of balancing a narrative, it doesn’t quite work. You can balance game mechanics, such as the number of quests available to each faction, the number of flight paths, etc… but in terms of story, the best you can do is, “tit for tat,” and honestly, I’d rather Vol’jin hadn’t died because they decided it was Varian’s time, and the Horde had to lose someone to, “keep it balanced.” What a waste of a character. Vol’jin spent all of three seconds at Warchief.

Also, how’s it feel to have four Druid options on the Horde, compared to the Alliance’s three? Really balanced game, right?

We all know what the Alliance playerbase’s reaction would be if Blizzard added a bunch of new land to the map and made it all Horde territory.

And even worse, they didn’t even give Vol’jin a badass death.
And to rub salt into the wound even further, his last moment as warchief… he wasn’t even warchief, Sylvanas took total charge of everything as soon as we met up with her.

There was plenty of empty land. Add new settlements and quest hubs for the Horde, visually update the Alliance ones, and it’s more or less done.

As an Alliance player, speaking for myself, I can’t say it bothered me that the Horde got a questing hub in the Badlands with their new architecture assets, while the Alliance had a dwarf camp.

I’m fine with a council, but I’d like to have a prominent Thrall story again. I miss Green Jesus

Nope they just hate the Horde.

Like when it come to Priest and Paladin sets they straight out ignore the Horde races that don’t revere the Holy Light but the Sun or Loa with every set designed with the Alliances light worship in mind.

No we have two Troll and Tauren.

If we’re going down that road, Alliance has two as well; NE and flavors of Human.

In fact, that’s a massive problem with Alliance race selection; they effectively have three Human races, and two of them are Core.

Worgen are not Humans not anymore although similar to Dragons they can hide their true form to blend in appearing as the Humans they once were.

That is up for intense debate. And Kul’Tirans are 100% human.

Cool still a separate race from Worgen who as I said are no longer really Humans no matter how much Genn wants to deny it.

Also Kul Tirans have a unique Skeleton they’re not a reskinned race.

Kul Tirans were super disappointing ontop of that. The male faces are all the same dude, you can only differentiate them with facial hair and skin color.

Even basic human faces aren’t all the same, and they can be modified with the face shape option.

All the KT skeleton proves is they should have been BT 3/4 for Humans. As far as Worgen go, they ARE still Human, just under a curse; they have Human culture, have Human babies (AFAIK, I know Worgen aren’t true-breeding), and even have Human forms.
