So have we lost Blizzard?

What delusional world are you living in? Also notice how every one of these threads is posted on an alt where you can’t even see how much of the “awful content” they have tried?

Shadowlands is leagues better than BfA and it’s not even close. Not at all. Shadowlands has some issues, but all expacs do. This one has exponentially less than BfA.

A better story would of been the iron horde coming through and us throughout the expansion or at least the first half pushing them back through the portal then the 2nd half of the expansion doing the fighting in Draenor.

I didnt really think of it until I read your post but it kind of makes sense now. We havent had good talent customization for years. Any extra “talents” come from side things anymore. Id rather just have more talent customization for my actual character than multiple borrowed power systems. But that wouldnt increase the time I spend online and subbed, which is all Blizz cares about.

Bots are paid subs. Why would they do anything about it?

People asked for loot to be nerfed, all the way thru Legion and BFA, people cried that there was so much loot it had lost any feeling of importance. They do it and everyone cries. People complained that they’re were to many systems to farm, they fixed that n now everyone cries that it’s barebones and there’s nothing to do. No matter what they do y’all are just gonna cry. It is impossible to build a game that everyone is happy with. Is SL great, no way but I have an option, play thru it, or unsub til the next one. Since it’s not so easy and fast as hit the easy button to reprogram these concerns people have, those are our options, play or don’t play. At the moment we continue to pump money into something month after month that we don’t enjoy, it becomes our fault not theirs.

when they dropped it, it was such a missed opportunity… then they gave a half-assed reason about it being specific to just the Azeroth races, even though it existed on Dreanor.

I understand that arch is probably not done very much at all, but the lore that could have been explored in Shadowlands is, as I already stated, a big missed opportunity

Legion wasn’t garbage though, and BfA actually had some great content in it! I really like Nazjitar and Mechagon honestly, especially the new megadungeon they added.

I’m 30 Renown, 10/10 H CN, and trying to push for KSM currently. I myself have rather enjoyed to expansion and haven’t had many grips with it. There is the odd bug here and there but it’s to be expected. The loot isn’t great for Raid/M+ (I think I got 1 drop from our last CN clear, yikes) but it’s something that has been addressed and most likely will have action taken in 9.1.
Out of all the first patches I’ve played recently SL is probably one of the best outside of those two things. But just because a couple of things aren’t great doesn’t mean the xpac is bad.

I’m sure Blizz is trying there best to get things on track but these things don’t happen over night and I don’t expect any epically impactful changes during a weekly reset hotfix.

Thats how bad SL is.

I find there is no real reason to log on. I just can’t bring myself to do the same boring quest over and over and over again. I have no desire to raid, so I really don’t care if I don’t get loot - it is just boring. I was never this bored in Legion or BFA and I did the same thing.

Well not everything has to be geared toward meta or endgame.

When I was into archaeology it was a nice side diversion. I think BlizZard should understand that transmog, archaeology, player housing, first aid, etc have a place in the game.

Not everything has to be geared toward PVE/PVP seasons.

Blizzard died with Rock N’ Roll Racing.

This is what I love about ESO. There is an absolute ton of side things to do in that game and they keep adding more. The game doesn’t cater to the 1%, there is something for everyone.

That is how WoW used to be too because that is the principle of MMORPG gameplay.

SWG is another example as not everyone was a Jedi and it had a strong crafting community.

I agree, it was kind of fun for a bit, and when you get something fun like a pet it actually felt more rewarding than SL M+ lol.

It got SUPER repetitive though. How many disembowling hooks could the drust have left buried in KulTiras anyways?

I absolutely agree with you I think these brought more life and immersion into the MMORPG. I truly don’t understand how we ended up with basically raid+push key/pvp or get out. it’s utterly dreadful and disappointing I cant honestly excuse paying the monthly sub, because what am I paying for?..more microtransactions.

Blizzcon won’t be good for WoW but I can’t wait to see what new 6-month sub + cosmetic they will try to bait people to buy.

Miss those buff lines in SWG… lol

I know people make fun of me for still crafting Hexweave bags but I am having fun still doing older content.

Plus, at level 50 I am still stronger than most 60s doing BFA content so I am happy as a pig in mud right now LMAO.

BlizZard needs to accept that different players play for different reasons. I am not against PVP or PVE seasons and competition. But WoW should still be a MMORPG and other aspects should be enhanced.

For example look at the cool things they can do with the glyph system.

I guess when they want to make it more profitable with e-sports, they view these small little niches in game as useless. In terms of esports, where it has to be insta action burst meta ( You too can blow up a player in a CD!!!*RET/FMage/FOTM), those smaller interactions don’t mean as much.

Blizzard will keep blowing out expansions like magic the gathering! nothing as good as the first few expansions. This shadowlands is a joke, nice scenery, but everything is scripted. Couple kopol things here and there, but more boring than last expansion.
