Every change blizzard makes to the old world is a mistake. And they just try to sweep it under the rug.
Having surveyors study it would be a start. We donât know what materials itâs made of and whether we have access to anything that can damage it. If it can be damaged, start trying to get crews to blow up/break off pieces bit by bit until itâs at ground level. Reuse the materials if possible.

youâd jsut blown up a mob to whee they literally are chunks of meat all over. and from a chunk of meat that was maybe a leg thigh (maybe a big arm bicep, who knows)âŠ

Blizzard likes to build things then throw it all away about every 2 years. Old content is forgotten. I highly doubt they will do anything with it.
It will be like the rest of the world. Part of the museum for the forgotten expansion.

I guess they legit plan to just leave it there, like, forever. 
I heard a rumor that the gnomes have been working on building a bigger sword, to chop down the one in Silithus.
Its a Shame that.
since they pull some questionable new villain plots (to some) one really cool expac could not have any major villians.

Varian should have paid daddy van cleef. varian was the bad guy there. dude failed to pay his bills. Van cleef started a revolt that collected something else in trade. His wife would still be aliveâŠif he paid.

We threw a sand-colored blanket over it.
Silithus is as good as new.
Honestly, that wouldnât surprise me either.
We also still have that little bright star in the sky, to remind us of Legion, when the hole to Argus got ripped open, and we saw the planet in our sky for a while. That was cool.
It might remain just that- A giant artifact weapon, to remind us all of when we had weapons of our own. (Transmog aside, those weapons all âdiedâ when we drained their power. Well, except one maybe? But, spoilers.)
