So, Did we forgot about the massive Sargeras sword stuck on Sillithus?

I mean, After BFA, we went into Icecrown skyhole to Shadowlands, spent an entire expansion there (Who knows how long we stayed there, lorewise), then after we beat the big bald Jailer, we had a Time Skip ( Three years lorewise, i belive ), and now we are at the Dragon Isles dealing with the Primalists and who knows what will happen soon.

And Sargeras Sword still there. Did we just… forgot about it?

We forgot about Silithus for 13 years before the sword incident. I think the most important factor here is that no one cares.

I pass by it every day, have not forgotten about it at all and wonder how many more expansions until we address it…

For the most part, me too. But it’s always a pleasant surprise when something from the past comes back up. (Waiting on Xal’atath to pop back up!!) until they “ruin” it with new lore, anyway.

Edit: Wouldn’t be surprised if something happens with the sword, if and when the nascent soul of Azeroth awakens.

There is no sword in Ba Sing Se.

pulling it out is probably more dangerous since we stabilized it. I think the most damaging part of the sword was probably the seeping corruption that was pouring in. That’s probably what caused most the damage.

I didn’t forget, because it was their shoddy story writing with the sword that took away my legion weapon’s powers.

The legion weapon should have been something that went on forever! Was absolutely one of the best things to ever come to this game. (Traits could have changed, but having a weapon that you could add unique awesome skins to through doing game content…that was amazing)
