I legitimately think that person believes RDF and LFR is the same thing.
I wouldn’t be surprised. Every anti-RDF is clueless in one way or another.
He’s a known troll’s alt.
The only social aspect being skipped with rdf is the simple whisper to the leader when you state your spec/roll. Keep living in your bull**** fallacy. This game has no social aspect because they’ve gimped it to a whole 'nother level. Nobody wants to waste time because time is all we have.
lol. No they weren’t because things were gated behind rep, leveling, etc. But yes, people certainly did raid log in all the Classic versions. But the time to be able to raid log was longer.
No RDF is why I quit, and why I’m boycotting all retail expansions and future blizzard products. They lost me as a customer, and I steer other potential customers away from them at every chance I get. The devs are clueless and don’t deserve their jobs.
How are you able to post if you don’t have a subscription?
You can cancel your sub and still play until the day of your next payment.
If you have a ton of gold saved up you can keep subbing for months and months and months without paying an actual real life cent.
Of course someone is still paying your sub, and they’re paying $5 more than you would. So Blizz makes out even better. They might have terrible game design, the worst customer support in the industry, but man Blizz has mastered cash shop, micro-transaction and payment manipulation.
You make it like its hard getting into a dungeon with the current system and it’s not. The idea of talking to others and on those moments finally getting that healer or tank after several minutes is an incredible feeling. Getting into a raid is far more impactful when you have to talk your way to it.
RDF gear is not the same damn gear. Heroic gear is great gear to prepare for raids. What do you think I’m talking about, normal difficulty dungeons?
Ignoring leveling(TBC and wrath are a wash and vanilla obviously was longer since it was 60 levels) the time to get to raid ready was relatively comparable. Vanilla with no dungeons lockouts you could easily spam for your pre raid bis. TBC was marginally longer solely because of the variance in heroic difficulty which limited badge gear, but we’re only talking days not weeks or months between TBC and Wrath.
RDF works for heroics so yes it literally is the same gear in RDF as non RDF.
That troll has incessantly been trying to push the narrative that rdf is for raids.
For some it isn’t. WTH is wrong with you that you can’t put yourself in someone else’s shoes for one second?
It’s the SAME DAMN GEAR. You can run normal or heroic with both LFG and RDF.
Who gaf? This isn’t about raids.
Zaalg is right. You’re a troll. Either that or you’re the dumbest person on the planet.
The two aren’t mutually exclusive
I guess there is just a minuscule chance he simply has no idea how RDF worked. He’s said over and over again it’s its own difficulty with its own gear. Obviously both things are completely false. And not even confusing it with LFR…which he references separately.
So I will acknowledge the possibility he’s just clueless. In fact, it is a common running theme that most anti-rdf posters didn’t play Wrath and don’t know anything about how RDF functioned. So I suppose that’s possible.
But when someone doubles down and triples down and quadruples down on things factually proven wrong, after being corrected by many people…it’s hard to say it’s not a troll.
Killed classic?
It’s the end of a very easy phase, at the holiday period, with the launch of a new expansion. It’s not dead, it’s at the end of a cycle.
As for RDF and dungeons - if you are social, in a levelling guild, have patience, or actually put in the more than 5 minutes of effort, you will have no issue getting dungeons at any level bracket on any well populated server.
Admittedly I was anti-RDF even though I knew I probably wasn’t going to play wraith anyway.

So low population servers don’t matter and they should slowly die
