So can we finally admit that not having RDF killed Wrath Classic?

All they had to do was just release the expansion unchanged. It was so simple. But no! They thought they could make them better.

Now we have this monstrosity called Wrath Classic. This thing is so far off the mark it really should not even be called “Classic”. Maybe Wrath 2.0 or Wrath Reborn, but Wrath Classic it is not.

Why does it boggle your mind? No disrespect, but wake up.

Those guys are trolling you.

It’s that simple.

Not sure what charts you are referring to as every chart I can find shows the same or nearly the same population patterns.

I know you have me on ignore, but for the sake of those who will see it. Having a different opinion than you doesnt make it trolling.

Oh I am having fun right now. I actually get a kick out of blasting every one of there so called facts.

Plus anyone that reads the thread can see the real data. I am doing it more for the other readers and less to respond to the troll.

Why do I feel like you didn’t play vanilla/tbc/Wotlk?

When did you really start the game? that’s what I want to know. Tell me what expac you started at and it’ll be all I need to know. Also in the chart I originally linked if you close up, the game dropped in late Wotlk. But since there are multiple charts with conflicting information who knows the accuracy of each chart. Only Blizz knows that.

Like I said, I played since 05, I played Nostalrius as well and was one of the 300k people who signed a petition that was sent to Blizzard in 2016 to get Classic servers after Nost shut down. I guarantee you did none of that. Obviously people wanted a game back that had absolutely NO RDF :thinking::thinking: and it was big enough for Blizz to implement it. Hmmmm. But I can already tell you’re going to say that none of that matters because you RDF trolls just say nothing matters and believe it.

Exactly.
As much as I would like to roll another toon I simply won’t. I’m not going to solo all the way to 70, that would be pure misery. Even with the +50% xp it’s still not worth it.
Blizzard gimped the amount of xp you get in dungeons anyways. I got more xp sitting in a city and doing BG’s from 70-80. Every time I did a dungeon (Even with rested xp) I came out thinking “Wow that wasn’t even worth it”

RDF wasn’t in Vanilla, Sherlock. No one was expecting it in Vanilla Classic.

But this is Wrath now.

"To be completely honest, [the Looking For Group tool] is a feature I wanted in the game when we launched the game. I was really unhappy when we didn’t have it when we first shipped, so it’s been 5 years coming. Maybe it wasn’t the number one thing I wanted in, but it’s definitely one of the top 5 things that I wanted in the game. It’s actually our third try at a proper LFG tool, and this one gets it right. With the Meeting Stones, we didn’t put enough attention into it, we just tried to jam it in, and people didn’t use it. The second tool, it ended up being compromised feature – we tried to cater to too many different audiences.

As for the community question, I used to … I think that 5 years ago, I would have answered this question differently than I would today. I was all about preserving the small realm communities, but already… Well, look at Battlegrounds, it’s a good case in point, because it doesn’t diminish social relationships that matter on a realm. Sure, everyone can bring up “that one guy” that they know, the ninja looter who stole his stuff. But I think your real community isn’t the whole realm, but it’s your guild and the friends you group with, and the cross-server LFG won’t undermine that at all. The Dungeon Finder – by the way, I think we just renamed it the Dungeon Finder last night – We designed it in such a way that it serves the need for guilds and groups and friends. You don’t have to always [join a Pick-Up Group]. If there are four guildies in a group who just need a fifth, they can do that. You can also use it if even you have a full five-person party.

Or, you can do it if you’re on your own and just want to run something, so I don’t think it diminishes it at all"

Ok so you didn’t play during Vanilla/TBC. Got it. Goodnight.

Now it’s talking to itself…?

This says it all. The new team running Wrath Classic need to stop thinking they knew the community and what is best for it and actually do some real research.

This whole excuse that RDF would somehow jeopardize social interactions was incorrect and now we all have to suck it up because no one wants to admit they made a mistake.

The part I like also is the “we would’ve had this sooner if we could”

Yeah, I was wondering about that response. I think the bot might be having a problem.

I think trying to understand a graph may have shortcircuited it.

The current dev team needs to own up to the fact that they are the B team of the B team and just release wrath as it was without any retail garbage crammed into it.

You’re like the lowest performing DPS in your guild…

You’re acting as if everyone performs around your level and they just don’t they perform way higher than you.

You’re getting pure carried

The other hunter in your same raid average is almost a 90 and you average a 60.

Your guild has two raid teams and you are ranked 38th in DPS performance… that’s like last for both teams

Does it not seem too late for that?

A bit yes, I feel like the damage might already be done and it’s too late to try and fix it. But there may be those that are just hanging out in the sidelines waiting to see it things do change and will come back.

I hope it is the latter that is the case and if RDF gets put in many accounts will go active again.

Probably but there is always the chance they’ll realize their ego is much greater than their talent.
