So after the Eredar got a second chance by Velen

I mean there were already pains to differentiate the Huojin and the Tushui, not to mention the High Elves. The dwarf model being a Horde race is dumb (we should have gotten something like Ogres as a race or even forest trolls as a customization for base Darkspear), but I don’t think the Pandaren and Thalassians are a fair comparison.

The Earthen from Northrend weren’t allied with the Alliance, IIRC the Frostborn were not Earthen unless I’m forgetting something?

I dunno, personally I don’t feel like it matters if they’re “technically” not dwarves. The Earthen are dwarf-related lore and learning more about their origins has always been part of their racial story.

I couldn’t help but be massively disappointed and put off by their reveal, because I felt like the last thing the horde needed was another basic humanoid-y race. Not to mention potentially getting getting saddled with Harronir on top of them.

Honestly that’s the treatment they should give to Ogres :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: lol

:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I really hope they are true purple so I can have a single race to rule themahem… to make friends with them all…

I’m sure the alliance won’t freak out about a race that looks a bit trollish walking freely around their cities and touching their stuff… nope they’d never do that.

It’d also be nice if Forsaken could get the upright stance and some more faces I feel like they don’t have enough options… wouldn’t hurt to also let them be than just humans.

See I really don’t get the problem we’ve had humans in the Horde since the game started… lol.

Gonna say I’d love Mok’Nathal in the horde as an allied race

Ogres… might be a tad too big.

Yea but they aren’t as cool as two headed ogres

I would rather get nothing than get Earthen.

They could haven given us amani or edgy blood elves or both in Midnight.

Funny, I presented that argument as a rhetorical question in a thread of mine: 'What Dwarves would you want? ’ — Should we had got to choose what kind of dwarf variation we got if we had the choice :joy:

Personally I think if we were getting Earthen, we could’ve got the option for perhaps other titanforged / ‘titan-blessed’ or elementally-ascended races (or just mere customisation options at the very least).

We already got Blood Elves though? Did you mean Felblood elves?

Amani / Forest Trolls would be cool – even if it wasn’t the majority of them, say like a tribe that severed from the Amani (akin to how the Darkspear was a tribe that severed from the Gurabashi) :fist: We’d still have an enemy of Quel’Thalas, but manage to gain an ally too.

We literally have a bunch of troll squatters still in Stormwind Harbor. Tell Rokhan to get them off our lawn!

Not really. While we do have giant Ogres in-game, we also have smaller Ogres like the Stonemaul in Brackenwall Village.

I’m hopeful for Forest Trolls with Midnight and as we will be having an “Eleven Reunification” perhaps we might get some Felblood elves as well. Though I think they would be a skin over a playable race on their own right.

Perfect time to add San’layn as a customization too, since they’re technically another flavor of blood elf.

We already kinda do have San’layn as a customisation with the ‘Dark Ranger’ Elves features.

Although that being said - Handfuls of San’layn of which we have encountered in the past have the blue-shining eyes which Death Knights have — So it’d be cool to get that as an option to tie-in alongside with the undead-skin features.

  • If Death Knights are unhappy with sharing that simple feature → Throw them a bone & give them shining crimson-red eyes & shining deathly-green eyes.

Albeit that being said, there’s lots of various features they could provide to other existing races (within reason, of cause).

Same too. Mok’nathal has been the most wanted race for the horde for the longest time now.

They could even use the Kul tiran rig as Rexxar uses it since it was introduced in BFA.

Ogres came first sorry.

With glowing blue eyes? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
Well regardless, point still stands it’d be cool to have as an option :joy: lol

Wait a minute you mean Lady Doomswallow the Succubus Queen walking around Stormwind with her paramour Lord Count Marquis Xakaltavakquis the Puppy-flayer are operating marginally outside of the established lore? Did they not read the quest texts?!

the what now?

I made a statement about the San’layn we’ve encountered in the past having blue-glowing-eyes in the game & it’d be cool to have that as an option tie-in with the undead-skin features we get on elves (and perhaps Forsaken too).

Then later stating if Death Knights are unhappy with sharing that simple feature → Throw them a bone & give them shining crimson-red eyes & shining deathly-green eyes.

Concluding that (within reason) – There’s a lot more various features that could be provided to other existing races.

Then you replied to that comment:

“Ogres came first sorry.”

:face_with_raised_eyebrow: Did you mean to reply to someone else & accidentally replied to me instead?

I realized there is a pit lord you can choose back in warcraft 3. So even back then there were neutral or rogue demons probably after the legion fell. Or I am looking for cope.
Too bad we couldn’t build this lore up before eredars joined.
