Is it possible to redeem the remaining Fel Orcs too? Like they are demons aswell and weren’t even responsible for the same scale of genocide the demonic Eredar did as Ma’nari. Velen gave those who asked for it absolution. Whatever remains of the Fel Horde now might do an exodus to Azeroth some day and try to apologize to the remaining Orc leaders. That could save us some of the clans we lost along the way like the Laughing Skulls and Shadowmoon. What do you think about this?

The storyline you’re describing could’ve happened since Legion. Alliance bias ensured it wouldn’t.

If Velen saved them, they would have killed off the non-light orcs.
Talking about our Velen here not Yrel and her crusade. I think if Eredar can be coming back to normal so should the corrupted Orcs.

Agreed. If Velen could redeem the Man’ari, there’s no reason why he can’t redeem the Fel Orcs too. That will also finally give the Alliance a sub-group of playable Orcs.

Orcs are Horde just like humans are alliance.
I was actually thinking something similar yesterday.
Not fel orcs, though it is very much valid.
I was thinking about the felborne nightborne.
I was also thinking in expanding the demon hunter class to Draenei and Nightborne, and explain that a splinter group of Illidari reached out to some felborne and some eredar that weren’t exactly happy under the legion.
But for sure, if Man’ari can “rejoin” society, you basically opened the gate for any possible past villain to have repentants.

Yes exactly my line of thinking. They gave a redemption to the most evil group in the franchise now nothing is off the table anymore By that logic.

Okay, but… we know for a fact that a ton of Fel Orcs were Mag’har that were thrown into a machine that forcibly injected Demon Blood into them. We literally see this happen, there’s a whole dungeon about it.
They’re actually extremely redeemable, and always have been, Eredar or no.

Eredar followed Sargeras willingly. Fel Orcs were forced to serve Illidan and Magtheridon. So yeah I think the Orcs are the more worthy group of having a redemption arc.

honestly it seems like a huge part of this boils down to optics and what’s broadly desirable by players. man’ari are just sexier than 'roided-out orcs with gigantic blood red bone spurs. i’ve wanted leper gnome options for gnomes for a long time, considering the detox efforts in gnomeregan appear to be doing just fine. but i just don’t see that as a widespread sort of desire, so i don’t hold my breath for blizz to implement it
After man’ari I think almost anything is on the table.

Not almost. Everything is redeemable now if we pester blizz enough about it. They set the precedent, they have to deal with the consequences of that now.
I love playable Man’ari mind you, but it is a can of worms they didn’t really think through

I’m excited for Dracthyr warlocks. Thinking of making one as an alt so I can RP a Shadowflame imbued Dracthyr.
But fel customizations for the Mag’har/Reg orcs would be cool if blizz wants to go that route of making the fel horde playable

Maybe I’m just misremembering since TBC was so long ago (I didn’t play TBC Classic), but aren’t there are handful of friendly Fel Orc NPCs in like Thrallmar or something?
I do hope we get the Fel Orc (both versions) as a new skin tone option for Orc and Mag’har.

Having man’ari eredar as a playable “race” (not really since it’s just Draenei with a different skin) is one of the stupidest pieces of fan service Blizzard has ever done. It makes the man’ari in retrospect seem like way less of a threat, it makes Velen look stupid, and it makes Turalyon look lazy. The writing team arguably handled it as best they could for the quest lines involved but it’s still an awful decision.
The caveat though is that if Blizzard decides to let other races be Demon Hunters, I could see Fel Orc being a possible skin tone for that very specific niche.

There are no excuses left while other former evil races shouldn’t be playable. Like Mogu and Fel orcs
