Sword? What sword?
Blizz writing team frantically searching for the notes of people who were fired who wrote notes abotu the previous writing team that was fired who wrote about the story of the previous PREVIOUS writing team that made the outline for the plot relating to sargeras’ sword
OH THAT SWORD!
Profuse sweating
Uh… it’s fine… Everything’s fine… please don’t fire me and hire someone cheaper!
Because Elune was probably banished for being a girl.
‘No girls allowed’ said the Male First Ones
Let me answer with a question. How many years did it take for Stormwind to get repaired?
Let me ask a better question:
How many years did it take until we finally found Mankrik’s wife?
It’s a great place to do some Druid BASE jumping.
Fly to the top, then jump. It’s crazy how long the fall lasts! Before you hit the ground, hit flight form. The one closest to the ground wins.
Its great fun until your tauren druid has some shapeshift lag and becomes ground beef
Yeah the Giant sword thing and did we ever heal her wooonz?
The one that has the sword sticking out of it.
We had closure in BFA. We healed the wound by sacrificing our artifacts and we collected the blood in BFA and returned it to Azeroth.
Pulling the sword would only cause more harm.
What, Azeroth’s belly button?
It’s a tourist attraction. Makin’ phat stacks. Selling Azerite for 2g a pop.
but Azeroth isn’t a woman. She’s a titan.
You just made me giggle so hard. This is awesome.
In seriousness, though…I think they’re struggling with the fact that we have us a Titan baby in her egg, and one day, that egg’s gotta hatch. What will happen then? Is it bye-bye planet? Will she ferry us off to another planet to live on? Will she somehow get born without destroying the planet?
Will she wield Sargeras’ sword, fix Illidan’s rage issues, and send him home where he can marry Tyrande and have Night Elven babies like he always dreamed of?
I dunno.
See, it feels to me like the whole sword thing wasn’t a very well thought-out plan, but maybe it was and they have a story in mind for later.
We already got closure, the sword had all its demonic energies removed at the end of Legion.
The sword itself cannot be removed. It’s made of a metal not even of Azeroth, meaning there’s no way we’d even be able to cut it (it took a fellow Titan’s sword to break it in the first place) and even if we could cut it, that sword is so massive that the amount of construction materials needed to build scaffolding around it so that it could be dismantled would likely bankrupt every nation on Azeroth.
Do we even know what the material is? Maybe it’s Argus blood
wouldve been pretty simple to get some cheap cinematic closing the loop better and consuming the neck/cape in the meantime.
A rather pointed question! The whole subject puts me on edge.
You did in Legion with the Artifact sacrifice…but yeah another one would have been ok with maybe us sealing more of the wounds around it?
Yeah, I think Azeroth will remove the sword herself, and only she will be able to do it. I mean…unless another titan wants to bestir him/herself to come down here and do it for her.
We are waiting for the once and future king to pull the sword from the world.
Elvis?
