The affix is there to give you a buff, not to make it harder.
It’s easy but you must endure getting groups that will upset you, depending on your realm, there’s players that reject you.
We don’t know the escalation for fated content yet, it’s easier with your own group of friends and a specific schedule, instead of dealing with some players among the pug community.
No one cares, give the cat to LFR’ers
We tried to create a Warcraft Community to fill in for guild members on break, but didn’t have much luck.
With no new content in S4, I see little to do until DF.
of course its to sell WoW tokens… if not then the blame would fall on the players that can do basic mechanics/research or maybe socialize enough to say “Don’t stand in fire, taunt that, lust here”
Exactly, there’s a huge portion of players that don’t like cosmetics only gear progression but those players don’t find any reward from S4 since DF is around the corner with better gear from normal dungeons. Some of those players are my guild master, core leader , healers and tanks
There are many different skill levels, what you and I consider a cakewalk is a feat for someone else. I’ve seen people that can’t look out for a circle at their feet while doing their rotation because they tunnel so hard.
Do I consider them bad? yes. Should they pay for a carry? probably. Should I judge them worthy or unworthy of something that was intended to be obtainable by their skill level (LFR)? Absolutely not
The fact that the achievement originally said, “Any Difficulty” and now it is changed is the problem.
I get your view, for sure I do; it’s just not right that the goal post has moved with no clear reason as to why.
even among us LATAM players, it is difficult, there is Portuguese and Spanish as well as other languages and organizing certain mechanics is not an easy task.
Or trying to do a schedule for players from different countries, it’s difficult when 8pm is still early for a player but another player’s time is 11pm.
In legion my other half couldnt even see the circle under his feet because he had to run the game on low settings which apparently meant it wasnt being displayed at all.
Took us a long time to work out why he died all the time.
Not sure if blizzard has fixed that issue since legion though.
I will tell you a secret, there are more people willing to play raids than there are people willing to create a group and fill it with people. Nobody can kick the lead, they can leave but they can’t kick you. You just put the group up and invite randoms, if they leave you refill, you don’t need to say a single word or read anything as long as you play as if you are trying to win at least.
People do get AotC doing this, it takes them weeks, but also heroic is much harder than normal. You can do this alone in a single day, on patch drop really.
These are beaten raids, the strats are out there already, the mechanics are nerfed and on top of it, it’s normal.
The different would be that less people would feel the need to do the achievement for a mount that isn’t as interesting.
Forcing people to interact for a reward never goes as planned. Or rarely.
This ain’t gonna increase participation and it’ll make season 4 even more of a dud at this rate.
I love all these posts of players telling other players how to manage their lives, time, and behavior.
Oh it’s so glorious this can of worms Blizzard opened.
Ive done this a few times before.
Might be less stress just applying for groups XD
This is very true, how many times do you see a group requiring AoTC but the leader doesn’t have it
Yes, you will require a group to complete current group content. A group activity in a social game will require you interact with other people.
Since when is LFR not group content? Did you think it was soloing?
This exactly, I don’t like to be leader because i don’t like to kick people at the first try, then other players get upset because i provided a chance to someone that’s failing a mechanic. this happened recently durign a Sanctum of domation glory achievement, the leader left and let me the group and I tried to coordinate it without kicking a player for a while.
Also, I don’t always have the mood to provide instructions since english is not my first language and almost all the players that i could pug as leader comes from U.S servers.
As you mentioned people do this and get the AOTC eventually but it takes a lot of time, compared to the smoth runs that I had with my core, however the core is not available until DF and maybe we need to recruit people again. S4 doesn’t provide a reward for everyone and Blizzard didn’t mention this requirement until 5 days before patch deployment.
might as well be NPC’s.
