As much as it pains me to say so, this thread IS INDEED ABOUT PATHFINDER and the obstacle it presented to the OP in continuing on in the game. That is why I offered to fly the OP (or anyone, really) to the various locations to get the achievement. I took up the mantle that Pathfinder needs to go away so everyone can have equal access to flying.
Everyone does have equal access. You do not need to use skyriding at any point to unlock steady flight.
You and other people have set out disagreeing with us, that we haven’t had time to see them aggreeing or disagreeing with us. Because at one time also, about the pathfinding arguement (as I had never mentioned apart from the few times it had actually be brought up in the topic itself), I actually think it’s a good thing and why so.
But also the current reasons, why, the current one is much harder for people with disabilities, and those reasons too. Linking it back into the main topic of this thread. Never once losing sight, unlike others mind you, of the real reason of the thread topic in the first place, whereas, some as I just said have.
If I am mistaken, and you are clarifying this, I am truly sorry, but if I am right, and you are doing it for spiteful or similar reasons, let this be a learning experience for you, like I am many from others both secular and non, about how to handle my disability here and not here. If you fall into the former as well I thank you as well. See, I am not above reproach myself and also thankful if it is warranted, but careful it is not as well.
Also with these learning, I had to some myself, because there was noone like me I found that could mentor me in this space, even more so, with picking up two other disabilities mid and later in life. The first, though prepared me for the later 2. And have compounded each other.
This is not a life story, by all means. Just an outline to show you the importance of what and why we fight and why more importantly, my values I fight for others like me everyday, that are down troden. Similar to those mentioned in ‘The Beaitudes’ yes, from The Bible, only mention of it, to show where it comes from. No Bash, just plain and simple. Then applied to my life to help others, again I hope this help you in your understanding and others understanding as well, why we and others fight for this.
Also Malfics reply to them I am sure wouldn’t be intentional, just a misunderstanding or out of context by someone else trying to destroy the topic themselves. As for me, I didn’t see it as I explained part in the beginning, but more here and don’t really have the energy to search for it with reply to everyone here among everything else going on in my life atm, it can really drain me.
Hopefully, this explains things to you much fuller and you can see more sense of the true nature of the real topic, once clicking back to it at the start, and seeing what it was really created for, then pathfinder became a subtopic, not the topic itself as well as the other styles of flying.
This is also is why it takes me so long to reply. My disabilities, the facts, saying them all and trying to say the truth, then hopefully leaving nothing out.
Don’t twist what the author says with the topic name. Read the topic name
Well, I did, I needed to use Skyriding to get around until I was able to unlock Steady Flying. I realize I do not have the same level of skills as others here, nor will I ever. It was not equal access.
Don’t twist the conversation with the actual conversation?
If you want to talk about the topic name: If you can’t, for any reason at all, use skyriding, simply don’t use it. The option is already there.
It’s not hard at all to navigate on the ground.
why are you more Active on the Forums than the Game? You do know you Pay for it Kiyoko
You didn’t “need” to you chose to. People have completed the campaign using ground mounts up to Uniting Severed Threads and the same for wandering across the map.
Skyriding is too hard for disabled gamers - #1625 by Kiyoko-ravenholdt bruh, close the Tab
Why don’t you try reading the actual topic first instead of twisting the header to fit your narrative.
Its pretty clear what op said in the main topic.
By the way, nice way to disguise yourself. Change your character so no one knows it’s at the start, from your dragon, to your night elf.
But I see through it. Because your name is still visable. How long did you think it would last like The Doctor working out who The Master is on Dr Who?
May of taken a bit after each has a new regeneration, but the character is still the same and sneaky, and the name is also, mor importantly, still the same!
Its literally the same name. Idk how I am hiding
You still don’t get it, Skyriding is the topic, Pathfinder is a subtopic. Like writing an essay or a Literature review. The first I have done many times, the second once. As part of my 2nd Class Honours at University Degree. Yes, even with my disability (only one at that time - well known) I completed it. That’s how, even with my grammar mistakes sometimes now, I struggle as they are getting worse and I have recognised it, and I have admitted here before, unlike you, admitting stuff and omitting stuff, which is still lying. Though, you still won’t get the log checked out of you eye, because you are blind to it, even after several days of trying to convince you, it’s there. I will just have wait, even maybe years to realise this on your own journey for it to work out. Maybe this is you own disablity, that you cannot see it. I will not reply to you again, because it’s not worth trying for mine or the other people with disabilitie sake, convince you otherwise.
You are like the fool that built their house on the sand, wiht no foundations and people tried to tell you otherwise, but the waves crashed, the winds blew and your house came down with a mighty thud. Then suddenly you realised you should of listen to them all along. But that’s not today, maybe tomorrow, or many years time. But definitely not today.
Wut?
Op was complaining about how pathfinder locks their preferred method of flight.
That’s literally the topic. Aka “Skyriding is too hard for disabled gamers” which leads to “Please make skyriding toggle not locked behind achievements”.
This isn’t rocket science and I have no idea why you are arguing just a silly minute thing.
Kid, its about PF. OP had said it himself.
The extra serving of irony here is they keep saying Blizz will get an easy and big “W” if they get rid of Pathfinder…. Somehow?
They legitimately believe if Blizz removes PF millions of players will come flooding back and no one will use Skyriding anymore and they’ll be vindicated with… absolutely nothing to back up this assertion other than their ego.
It just ties into their original stance that Dynamic flying would immediately flop when Steady was unlocked and they can’t handle that that reality didn’t come to be.
It might be pointless to you, it’s not to me and many others.
I’ll say it again …What’s good for the Goose is good for the Gander…if Steady Flight has to have a Pathfinder then Dragon Flying needs Pathfinder too…or its Discrimination to many Disabled players…
Orrrrrrrrr instead of being petty you can support the removal of Pf.
When people don’t want to be corrected about a fact and try hiding it behind saying its their opinion, that’s a false opinion.
reading comprehension is imperative. good luck.
