yeah…and you should have to use them too.
Very good idea. A few of us have mentioned that a number of times.
Day one give us a choice of which flight we get for free.
Then PF for the other version of flight.
That way the bulk of players pick Skyriding and then if they want steady flight for farming nodes easier, they have to do PF.
Obviously the disabled players have issues with skyriding so unlikely theyd do PF at all, but theyre such a small minority that no one actually believes its going to affect blizzards precious /played metrics.
You heard it here first folks, someone tag Ion, Lio wants to bring back OG pathfinder!
lol…every cat Ive ever had was such a tyrant around the house. The one knocked over a few thousand bucks worth of ceramic figurines my ex wife had collected for my first daughter. She wanted to save them for when our daughter was an adult and she would take them for her own first apt/house.
That cat, lol. I came home to broken shards everywhere. She didnt just knock them over, she evidently decided to scatter them over 3 other rooms of the house lol.
not to good with the concept of sarcasm, I see, lol.
You’re right, here’s the better analogy I came up with at the gym:
You’re in a town where everyone gets around on golf carts. Golf carts require a license to drive (and have since they were first allowed, before that it was pedestrian only), which has had the requirements to earn and renew change every few years when the town gets a new mayor, but has always required that you be over 18-20 to drive one. Then the previous mayor gives everyone a free bike, and puts in some bike paths, but doesn’t really change the golf cart license requirements. Everyone’s complaining that you can bike without a license. New mayor greatly reduces the requirements to get/renew a golf cart license from previous, but still keeps the minimum age. People still complain that golf carts require a license at all.
I think the analogy I prefer is…
A car and a wheelchair a sitting in a parking lot.
Person A is handed the keys to the car and off he goes.
Person B is told he’s going to be dropped off 5 miles away and has to walk back to get the wheelchair.
Oh, Person B is handicapped, legs were severely damaged some years ago and he can barely walk now.
We both know that’s just nonsense rage bait that has no grounding in reality.
no…we both know your agenda doesnt allow you to accept that there is any issue here at all, so youre compelled to ignore anything that doesnt jibe with that agenda…including intentionally overlooking IONS words in the matter of accessibility.
I can do this with one hand using a Razer Naga but not sure if that helps anyone out. Just need to hit the buttons on the side and steer with the mouse and you’re good to go. Want to take off just hit the ascend skill and then off you go right?
Realistically, Person B in your scenario can’t drive because their license has expired, and they have elected to complain about the renewal process instead of renewing it, while Person A got on a bicycle.
Naga -esque mice are very good, you can also get your entire rotation for most specs on the side buttons with shift modifiers.
I did some videos in DF trying to help players having trouble with new flight but some of them clearly have too much issue with it that its not helping much.
Actually a couple of them got pretty insulting about it…which I figure is just frustration in having to deal with this at all.
Parity is what blizzard used to ditch PF for Legion and BFA flight as I recall…but evidently parity only matters when its not affecting Ions glorious new shiny toy, skyriding.
I appreciate theyre reducing PF to a few days tops, but in doing so theyve literally admitted that its not necessary to be in the game for any mode of flight.
The second we got ANY flight day one, the narrative that PF was about ‘exploration’ died a gruesome death.
sorry but if your agenda is blinding you to the simplicity of the details thats really not my problem or concern.
I know you’ve been willfully ignoring any detail that disagrees with your agenda all thread.
Slow flying has requirements to unlock. It’s been that way ever since it was added. The existence of an alternative way to fly doesn’t change that.
Lol…that reverse psyche hoax only works with the kiddies, sorry to say.
You’re not alone - I don’t understand it either.
You’re wasting hours of your life arguing with people who will never “get it” until real life hands them some lemons. It’s something you can’t teach.
I don’t think games designed for people without working limbs on the whole would be all that fun to play. I’m not really a fan of it for that reason.
Slow flying has been treated the same way in TWW that it has been in Wrath.
