If theres players that like to no life the game, so be it, they dont represent the majority of the playerbase anyway specially ath this point in the season.
So whats next ? I like transmogs and I want them asap so I can do something else, should the blessed iron be weekly capped like crests are at the start of a season?
Timegating the ring is whatever but making it suck for the first week makes no sense. Give it some power so people are excited to come back and make it stronger but to make it almost worthless at the start is going to turn people off of it.
Literally every single expansion and “X.1 to X.3”-patch says hello and disagrees with you. I mean this as literal as possible: players have a hell’of’a’hard time pacing themselves, and that’s the norm, and not the exception.
Literally every single patch and expansion has demonstrated this over and over again.
And you missed the entire point where the ring wasn’t supposed to be that. It is a ring you upgrade and it’ll get better, just like any other ring. It has other upgrades which is what folks are coming back for, but it ain’t supposed to replace any and every single ring folks have gotten so far in TWW.
So no, I didn’t miss the “suck” part … but you missed the entire point of the ring completely. As well as me explaining that what you are saying is a failure, is a feature - because they didn’t want to make it into the thing you say that they should’ve made it into. The ring is to supplement, not replace - and they have been very clear about that for a very long time.
Isn’t supposed to be what? They want us to use it in Season 2 but have went with the strategy of making it suck at first so everyone gets a sour taste in their mouths?
lol, I’ve missed the entire point? Your entire thesis is wrong.
It is supposed to replace Season 1 rings and be extremely valuable going into Season 2:
I spent 2 weeks in FR before I was done, and never went back.
Obviously I’ll be in SI for at least 6, a 1/2 hour at a time.
What I’m not sure of is whether I should be farming the event bosses for currency, or should I just go in, do the weeklies and then go home for 6 days. Not that that’s honestly a problem, other things to do and all that.
is is literally the forbidden reach minus flying. which makes it far worse.
the only thing it is good for in my opinion is valorstones. I pretty quickly earned 600-700 of them doing the quests.
testing the ring out on the tanking dummy, the ring did about 11% of my damage and about 10% of my healing. I don’t yet know how that translates into a dungeon run.
Although i pickup was 4k stamina, I give up 3k in secondary stats. that might be okay for a tank, especially with the apparent healing it did. I can’t see it making sense for a dps toon.
the toon i am playing on right now is a 609 ilevel BDK. I am going to test out the ring tonight in m+ 3s and 4s.
we’ll see…
but as far as the content itself is concerned, it is still generic, repeat stuff almost exactly like DF.
It is pretty tiny which I don’t mind and my fresh 80s are getting decent gear so it is worth doing right now. I have only done 4 characters and it is a bit tedious already - it isn’t extremely great content.
And btw is is smaller than a BFA island expedition from what I can tell.
Because it is. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing
What is bad is how time gated it is. “Oh but then no lifers will-“ they’re going to complain anyway, stop making the rest of us worse off trying to control them
Where do you get your information?
It has been said many times it’s a BFA littered with rares, even from Blizzard…
And the ring isn’t even good for people in “high end gear”.
The higher ilvl your current rings, the worse it is lol
It’s just boring, nothingness content at a premium price. Still.
