Well the one thing I will give the isle…I just went out there on a fresh 80 that was level cap for all of 15 minutes before-hand, and it was quick and easy to get him set up in all the gear off the vendor. Is it the best gear? No. Are there other ways to do that? Sure. Were there other things I could have done instead that would have been more fun? Sure. I’m just attempting to be positive about the isle instead of being my usual, cranky self.

It def is a quicker way to get upgrades for my 80s that haven’t really done much.

Really starting to see that.
I will be happy to give my opinion. Siren isle day 1 before 6pm EST , the map wasn’t showing where the events were and I was completely lost, but it was our fault for logging in early. Now the map works and the island makes some sense. MY DK is taking significant damage in veteran PVE gear, but I can work with it, and the ring has a nice stam upgrade for me.
This was definitely written for casuals to equip their alts. There are many veteran gear drops that are warbound. I can see somebody with an already M+ equipped toon not finding it a challenge , but you will be able to faceroll gear for your warbank at least.
My biggest flaw is not recognizing the elite Vykrul immediately and I usually end up in a fight over my head.

Its not great…
Its a transmog mob grind area where your aoe group moved to event is you feel like it.
Its perfect for waiting in solo pvp queue but i dont think it serves many other people
siren isle is awesome. i dunno what y’all talkin about. them upgrades are sweet. i just leveled my 70 who was in that 480 pre patch gear all the way to 80 and she is in all that 584 veteran gear. cutting edge by mid saturday. here we come.
Nobodies actually playing the island outside of Zek makes doing stuff on it a pain

Ya know… I think i just realized that i did the entre questline and such and i dont think i saw a single “siren”
There’s a few dead ones on the shore pinned down by Vyrul weapons. I assume that’s what happened to them.

The drop rate is so low from him I just fished for the key.
This only works if it’s exciting at first.

it’s about a day’s worth of content with a few longer term daily type activities. i picked up the ring and one of the mounts, and once I finish the other mount that takes 15 mins a day I won’t be back. there’s just not much to it.

No, it isn’t.
We see how hard folks play the game to get any kind of miniscule advantage and folks burn themselves out. Timegates exist because people can’t pace themselves.
Nothing of the patch is supposed to be a replacement of the stuff we are already doing, but an addition to it. That’s why the patch number is 11.0.7 rather than 11.1.0.

Yesterday I saw someone saying they disliked siren isle because they fell of the boat and died and it was because the games decision to lock flying.
Then I went and did the zone.
- The NPC literally says mind the fall.
- Even if you do fall off, you don’t die. Most of it is water and if you do jump far enough to hit the rocks, it only takes you to like half HP.
General Discussion whinging summarized to be honest. Made up and self inflicted issues, and making a mountain out of an ant hill.
