Ya, I just don’t think Hyjal compares to Teldrassil. Teldrassil is probably the worst event for the night elves since the Sundering in terms of depopulation and death.

In general I would say it doesn’t make great sense that Night Elves would become Forsaken, but I think Sira is one of the few examples if you think about her life choices and obligations. I think she’s so duty bound, and she is such a fighter that she can’t even contemplate death, it’s just not in her DNA (literally and figuratively).

Now, all that aside, it STILL doesn’t make sense that even if a Nightelf wanted to be undead, they still become wisps upon death, which means they probably understand psychologically the implications of death better than any other faction or race even the Forsaken themselves because the Nightelves are so old.

Realistically I think they would become a wisp and fly away, or die as a wisp but I can’t see them becoming undead by choice. It’s like someone needing a ride to work and owning a car, but instead deciding they need to run down the block and steal a car… for reasons. It doesn’t make sense.

A dumb addition, but High Elves aren’t my concern. I don;t want to see a half-night elf, half-human. Besides we already have diminutive purple elves now.

I don’t have an opinion on High Elves one way or another. My desire for them to have been made an Allied race was simply to give Alliance players what they had been asking for, much in which the Mag’har and Zandalari gave Horde players what they had asked for.

Xenophobia =/= night elf lore, that = Highborne lore. Also why is it xenophobic to not want night elf human hybrids as a playable race?

This has derailed considerably, weren’t we suppose to be talking about how Sira and Delaryn are horrible people and why Undead Night elves will be a new Horde Race because Blizzard hates Night elves but loves Sylvanas?
