Primarily because I was unaware of the length previous enchants were avaliable, but also because these forums are non-stop complaining so when I see a guy who doesn’t even PVP it sort of calls into question the legitimacy of his issue.
Neither am I, which is why unsubbing is likely to prove to be one of the better things I’ve done recently.
Can’t prop up a sub using sunk cost fallacy anymore - the relationship is too toxic.

It makes certain people VERY happy, to the point one of them said I was a useless human being for saying they were bad.
That’s kind of how I’m taking this. I’m not trying to degrade or razz anyone, just seems like faux outrage.

No, OP it will be entirely new cosmetics and enchant for season 2 and the rated cosmetics from season one will no longer be obtainable… That’s how it has always worked. You had almost an entire year to get it

Some of my friend group were joking about how they might have done this at the last second to get activity on the ladder. It’s been freakishly dead for a while now, and people going for their first 2100-2400’s right now would be screwed. It’s traditionally easier to push at the end of a patch - I usually grab my cosmetics towards the end myself - and it’s been… bad. New enchant looks like garbage too, kind of making the tinfoil theory make sense.
Oh I guarantee that’s what it was. It makes literally no sense otherwise. This was completely unprompted, with no warning to the arena community whatsoever, and is a complete change in ideas considering enchants / illusions have always been expansion long. This was a dirty move to insight fomo.

Nah, its unprecedented and bluster explained it perfectly. Enchants have never been season exclusive and some people i know who are perfectly capable of getting 2100+ stopped playing midway through SL because a lot of the things right now arent fun and just feel bad. Suddenly finding out the enchant you figured you’d get next season is going away kinda sucks. Theres legit a ton of people who have stopped playing due to pvp, and a lot of people have lost their queueing partners

I’m apathetic to this. Get it during the season or oh well, it’s just a cosmetic. Also with it no longer being obtainable makes it more special for the people who actually did earn it. Because you decided not to play cause you were bored doesn’t mean you earned a pass for stuff active players worked for
Meh it should still have been announced earlier on that a mop old system was suddenly changing. Theres already a lot of outrage from customers over other things, seems silly from blizz to deliberately pick a bone on this topic to upset more people lol
At this point the change was so long ago… Doesn’t it seem kind of random to suddenly complain about it now? Just seems like searching for things to complain about that don’t need to be fixed

That’s not what I meant, I meant how the way you obtain seasonal rated pvp cosmetics works has been this way for a long time. Also this season has been going on forever and people have complaining non-stop for a release date so they gave us one
