Sin'dorei druids and more druids

No, you didn’t.

The assembled Sin’dorei mock the Night Elves and their use of Druidism during the invasion of Suramar. Until you directly counter that specific statement you have done nothing but be dismissive.

There is currently no lore that supports Sin’dorei Druidism. The Zandalari have access to their Loas, Blood Elves have no connection to either Wild Gods or Loa.

Ok? But it seems like this is just your head-canon.

I never got a response for that, Telar.

Okay so you can’t read what I posted?

Except I’m citing sources for mine?

No? I just did a quick scroll throughout the thread. There are no “sources”

Now you’re literally just trying to “move around in circles”. This statement means nothing, and you’ve provided absolutely no evidence-based knowledge that supports your stance other than sheer wants, desires, and headcanon.

If you want Blood Elf Druids because you want them, that’s fine.

If you want Blood Elf Druids because you think there is suitable lore reasons, than you need to provide them. Headcanon, your feelings and thoughts on the matter, are not official WoW lore.

Wasn’t your last “source” that because Blood elves are friends with the Nightborne, they could learn druidic magic from a proto-druid named Valewalker Farodin?

Here are some ideas to add botanist troops to horde.

High Botanist Freywinn and Tel’arn are dead…thus they can both be brought back into the stories via shadowlands.

Botanist lore can be expanded at this time. They may choose to rejoin the horde. Tel’arn could find himself in the Ardenweald. Him being so fanatic with life magic manages to be brought to the reborn realm and discovers some nightborne troops and get caught up on joining the horde.

Freywinn - could be in the realm with Kael’thas and show life twisting magics in undeath. And possibly good for a blood elf/san’layn option for botanist.

I am open to ideas on other botanists wether that be a dalaran order that chooses to study nature magic as all the schools of magic should be shown, essentially being mage-druids. Races like priests are considered mage-priests in lore for races like blood elves, it wouldn’t be the first time. battle-mage is essentially a warrior/mage combo.

Because you left out the rest of my quote which stated that Highborne were a homogenization of all elves and tribes within. There was no difference between high and low genetically. Just those with natural affinity for arcane magic who were treated as nobility.

And I’m aware the Sunwell event occurred 12 years ago. Yes you posted that. I’m also citing the exact race page for blood elves on the wow page that states many are moving away from Arcane magic to break the addiction.
Inspired by the Sunwell’s rebirth, the blood elves have since entered into a shining new era in their ancient race’s history. Although some elves remain hesitant to abandon their dependence on arcane magic, others have embraced change for the betterment of Quel’Thalas.

I feel like besides Cafe, the rest of your abilities to read may be in serious question.

The Kaldorei did not practice Druidism until after the Sundering occurred. Those Highborne within Suramar have had absolutely no study or training in Druidism, as they sealed themselves off in their city before the Sundering occurred.

They have also had no contact with the outside world for over ten thousand years until the events of Legion.

I believe the discussion was because of the Arcan’dor and Farodin there could be more seeds as he wasn’t the only Valewalker. We don’t know much about the Arcan’dor as it hasn’t been explored more beyond the initial stages of Suramars liberation. Even in the Nightborne recruitment we don’t find out what’s going on there. We also have no idea if it was a connection to the dream or not.

There are avenues of lore expansion there to facilitate more druidic races. I can only point to certain elements of Sin’dorei culture and changes within to support my asking for blood elf druids.

Farodin is a Kaldorei who travelled to Suramar in an effort to help heal the land. He is not a Nightborne.

Blizzard themselves have stated that Botanists are not Druids.

You mean this quote: "As for the Highborne, all elves were Highborne until the sundering. Though I get your meaning, there were “tribes” within the racial nomenclature that denoted some more apt at arcane abilities where others were not natural prodigies."

They also made tidesages in-game for kul tirans. They do not consider themselves shamans.

In a Q&A this very question was raised, in which Blizzard confirmed that Tide Sages are Shaman.

Also, Farodin didn’t travel to Suramar, he’s lived in the wilds outside of Suramar city at Moonshade Sanctum to watch over the Arcan’dor seed.

They are shamans but they don’t consider themselves that. Shaman was more of an orc word.

Yes. That would be the one.

As you stated Blood Elves were the ancestors of the Highborne specifically the upper tier. Which technically would still make them night elf when they left Kalimdor. Which then technically would give them an in to the dream. But I’m just stretching that at this point. As I believe night elf culture only received that gift after the war of the ancients and the growth of Nordrasil when Ysera blessed them with the connection.

I’ll be bowing out of this thread myself.

Telar has made it very clear that he lacks suitable lore knowledge to suggest Sin’dorei Druidism, relying instead on half-truths, falsehoods, and mere headcanon to try and support his claims.

He is also not interested in having an actual discussion of the lore, as he simply brushed off all evidence-based information that is presented to him. Additionally I have witnessed him both mock and insult others who disagree with him.

His is not an opinion worth noting. I do wish him well in his grand crusade, however. I’m not against new options, or even creating new lore. Even for Blood Elves and Druidism.

I am, however, against liars and those who turn to insults when they do not get what they want or people disagree with them.
