Silver covenant allied bunch

I love all the head cannon in this thread.

They cant give us yellow draenei and not give us high elves. That’s so odd to me. If you’re just copy, paste, and recoloring races, then why not give us a little love here?

Sorry, why do you believe this is a necessity?

It’s not, you don’t get to set the goal post of what gets to be an Allied race, it’s laughable to think that you believe this is how it works.

But I’m glad you know that High Elves are on the Alliance, because that’s literally all that’s required to add an Allied Race, a few rig changes and it works perfectly, like it has for every single other allied race, your lack of imagination doesn’t prevent this from happening.

If Kul Tiran humans can be different looking humans and still be humans, then High Elves can have rig changes to make them look different than Blood Elves, because arguing against this is literally arguing about us taking your blood elf model again.

The funniest part about all of this is your delusion in believing you’re right when all the metrics of your argument have been set at a “you” standard and you actively fight back on established, in-game lore.

You don’t get to set the bar for what can and cannot happen and it’s sad to think you do, it’s just more bad faith argument.

Because there has been a lot of these threads ever day for years, the Blizz team tries to keep the High Elf Discussion to one specific thread at any given time. It’s actually in the TOS to not make repeat threads, so if you get a time out in the morning that would be why.

This is an incredibly toxic comment, flagged.

Especially in a system that helps you ignore threads, but then again you help High Elves more by showing the spite behind every person against the idea :man_shrugging:

It’s the entire deliberate design of the game and the two factions that the developers have enforced. They want the two factions to be distinctive from each other. If they had all the same races then they wouldn’t be different.

I am right. Have been for 13 years and counting.

Yes, us people who don’t want High Elves are a hivemind. We all think the same thing and do the same things. You caught us

You’re all browsing a general discussion board. There is no reason to be upset over a couple of threads where people show their desire to play a race in a game everyone here cares about. Not to mention that this one had started with a defense against the kind of criticism he already had to see. How can it be so detrimental to any of you if these players get to have access to a race that shows up on the Alliance forces already?

It ruins the alliance chance to get a good race. Yet again. The cycle of bad races that are just boring carbon copies continues.

They be hatin the sneaky Pete pirate! How dare they!!

I know right!?

I am practically a saint.

The fact that anyone disagrees with me is an affront to the WoW gods.

And rig changes to a model don’t do this how?

Void elves actively steal from Blood Elves by looking and animating exactly the same, Pandaren are in this same boat, this argument is gas lighting, faction distinctiveness is not an argument you can fall back on anymore.

Also showed you why this was incorrect, but keep spreading those lies, not like it stopped you before :kissing_heart:.

Popularity = Good race.

The Alliance had 2 chances to get a good race and failed in both and we now have 2 of the most underplayed races in the game.

Sad but true, the compromise was to give the Alliance My race, a compromise I like BTW.

Personally I think the Faction wall needs to come down, and the 2 faction game needs to die. Let the High Elves become one race again, let everyone play with each other, that way it’s not Horde Raids, Horde PVP all the time.

This sounds like a reasonable solution. But even without this, the issue of having this race and faction combination shouldn’t warrant this kind of outrage. It’s a popular aesthetic that existed in the Warcraft games. The division here seems like it’s reflecting the attitudes of the factions ingame. It’s ridiculous to see all of you treat each other this way when you all seem to be fans of this game with an interest in lore. There should be more that you have in common than divides you.

You know what I think is the worst part about the Alliance wanting High Elves? It just dumpsters the Void Elves which actually have potential to be an amazing race.

They do look incredibly similar though right? But for some reason, despite that, you’re here asking for something not a void elf while simultaneously using the similarity between void elves and blood elves as a point in your favor. It’s silly.

Void elves are distinctive enough. Silver Covenant elves are not. Therefore, the Alliance has Void elves and not Silver Covenant High elves.

I think I will start a new holiday where I gather my friends and family once a year to toast the best High Elves and the fact that the Alliance, despite years of begging, cannot play them without being on the best and right faction; the Horde.

While I do whole heartily agree with both Horde and Alliance need more unique races, just High Elves have been asked for 15 years going on 16…

My suggestion is if or when High Elves come on Alliance it gets paired with a Unique race aswell, so Horde and Alliance will get 2 races each one unique one a re-skin, Horde could get gilgoblins and Ogres and Alliance get High Elves and Ankoan/Sethrak.

This way it caters to everyone’s need on highly requested races and also brings that new feel and excitement we all love.

Listen, I can say I’ve always wanted High Elves, I actually thought Void Elves when first revealed before we saw what they look like where like Alleria, I thought that was a great compromise…not what we got.

People are just passionate about Warcraft in general, hey I’ve played the RTS games and I’ll be honest Kael’thas is the sole reason I got into WoW in 2004, I like Elves in all fantasy games… just Night Elves… the casting animation of the headache attack kills my life…

You need to understand Blizzard loves short cuts, creating carbon copies is the lazy easy way…look what what happened to class specific sets, they are gone, look at Wildhammer Dwarves, they have more lore then anything and now just cosmetics option for regular dwarves…

Blizzard now isn’t the same Blizzard we use to love…it’s truely a shame.

Don’t see how this is true when all it takes to make them have two different stories is to…give them two different stories.

And if Blizzard wanted to give Void Elves a story they would of done it within the past 2 years and especially in an expansion ending in Old Gods.

They are not, wearing armor and animating, they are exactly the same as Blood Elves. Blue skin color and bad hairstyles does not make for a massive distinction when they are a carbon copy from the skeleton up, especially in a game where 99% of all players are covered head to toe in armor.

And a new rig change for a possibly High Elf race is absolutely more unique than Void Elves are at the moment because the entire purpose of that would be to not have yet another carbon copy of the Blood elf Rig.

And you believe you argue in good faith to begin with lol, your long presence in this topic proves nothing but the spite for the topic you had from the start my dude, you aren’t tricking anyone :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

i support playable high elves. i have a question, would they have the same racials as blood elves? or what ideas do you have for their racials?

You should go take a gander at the High Elf positivity thread, they talk about that type of stuff all the time, and have a link to the main High Elf mega thread which has all that out in the first post.

Sad but true, honestly I love my little Void Elf. She’s sexier than a Blood Elf, yet she has the same animations and everything.

VOid Elf females have better hair choices, and our emotes sound good as well. I honestly dislike the blood elf female hair choices, and the emotes sound bad. That said I do love my Blood Elf Paladin.
