If anything, this post just goes to show that Blizzard should release the Shadowland customisation options early. RIP IT OFF LIKE A BANDAID BLIZZARD.
END THE HIGHELF DISCUSSION. ONCE. AND FOR ALL.
Large Sum of the Playerbase: “It’s over Alliance-Only-High-Elf Threads! The High Elves who are by all means and purposes Blood Elves — Have the highground!”
Alliance-Only-High-Elf-Posters ‘You underestimate my power!’
Large Sum of the Playerbase: “Don’t do it!” {Alliance-Only-High-Elf Posters quadripple flip several high-elf posts in a row}
Large Sum of the Playerbase:{Blizzard dismantles discussion to shreds}
Development time for story is a finite commodity. Void Elves deserve that time. Silver Covenant do not because that time should be spent on developing the Blood elves. Not their narrative foil.
If they weren’t, you wouldn’t be here debating it with me.
What do you think we should drink on that day? A wine? Maybe a merlot, or should we go with a white wine? Pinot grigio?
All races deserve that time, especially races who weren’t created on the spot then left to rot, your opinion is swell, but is is…an opinion.
They’re not High Elves so, incorrect.
About the 6th time you’re misleading the topic.
Lol you still think the blue eyes are a blood elf option. Old news.
Ion dismissed that weeks ago, the blue eyes are for NPC options only, and stated that “blue eyes do not fit Blood Elves”.
Even if it was true it wouldn’t matter because those are still Blood Elves, and not our Alliance High Elves who have a separate story and continue to appear on the Alliance side.
The funniest part is that this is 100% possible with the help of tongue elixir for rpingwith people from the alliance faction. And Quel’dorei can visit silvermoon anyways which is where quite a bit of RP happens for horde anyways
Honestly the discussion will never end. Well until the faction wall drops, and Blood Elves can walk freely in Stormwind without causing combat to happen. The moment the " Alliance-Only-High-Elf-Posters" lost was the announcement of Void Elves.
We’re here, we’re (*****) Purple, Get used to it.
p.s. I’m also the B & T in the letter soup. So the normal way works too…
Gameplay mechanic only. In WOW Alpha and Beta Forsaken spoke Human and Orc, this caused problems in PVP at the time, so the Devs of that time removed cross faction speaking.
Now years later all mages can do this, and Void Elf and Blood Elves speak the same language.
Actually,…IRL this can happen. I saw it with the Expat community i Europe. When I lived in Germany I had gotten to the point where I could think in German, but at the same time I had to reengage English if I wanted to speak it. Odd thing is when I came back to the US I forgot German after a few years of disuse.
I’m sure if I go back to Germany I’ll pick it up fast, but I’ll forget English.
