People who don’t want high elves should really thank this guy at this point. All he does is make the people who want High Elves look bad by doing shenanigans like this.
Sorry, you entered into this discussion in bad faith when you persisted in incorrectly claiming that we’re asking for Horde Blood Elves instead of the Alliance High Elves, who are not a horde race.
Your lack of lore-knowledge does not make for a foundation to an argument dude, it just makes you lore-biased.
Like I said before, you can not like High Elves, but lying about what players are asking for is the root of a bad faith argument.
Not at all, those are Blood Elves, we have Alliance High Elves, who have never been in the Horde.
And yet you keep incorrectly claiming that Blood elves are the Alliance High Elves people are asking for, they’re not.
And how Kul Tirans probe: a race can look different and still be the same race.
So i didn’t read any of your post, is there anything relevant you want to say that hasn’t been said in your disgusting containment thread?
Adorable, claiming purposeful ignorance so you don’t have to face the music.
You get it’s ok to be wrong about this right? Lol
Your comment here proves you never had anything but bad faith to argue in the first place and just comment for the sake of hating High Elves, which you’re more than entitled to.
What you’re not entitled to is lying about the High Elf request you make it seem like we’re trying to take a race “the horde already has”.
Just reply yes or no.
Ahhh hit a nerve?
Think I made my point, thanks for showing people like you never had any valid point and are nothing but spite.
Ok that’s a no, glad i didn’t waste my time reading your nonsense.
I’m glad too, probably too much for one night for you hu?
Sleep tight sweetie pie.
Well he is correct that Blood Elves are High Elves, and are actually the Majority population of High Elves. I also hate the erasure of Void Elves in these discussions, as we are the Blue Eyed High Elves in the Alliance.
I do not feel we need another High Elf player race, but would prefer to see a few less corrupted skin tones and hair color options on Void Elves. I would also think that Night Elf paladins should be a thing. So we can have Alliance Elf Paladins.
Shame on them for liking something i suppose.
You’re playing a race that was originally supposed to be Broken Draenei, but then ret-conned to be DND tieflings in wow.
My statement was one that is upfront with no ambiguity. You in turn just muddy the conversation by leveling accusations against me with a hostile aggression and a willful ignorance that is at times alarming but always worthy of ridicule.
You argue in bad faith. Your definitions are undeclared and change depending on what is convenient for your argument. If playing semantics doesn’t work then you revert to the tried and true method of just gaslighting and insults.
Clearing and correcting your statements does not muddy the conversation, it states established, in-game lore that everyone can see.
Alliance High Elves are not and have never been in the Horde, these are the elves people ask for when they ask for “high elves”.
Horde Blood Elves are the main group of thalassian elves and will stay on the horde indefinitely.
I’m not sure where you believe these facts about these two separate, in-game groups are incorrect.
It’s popularity.
And no one said the Alliance doesn’t want distinct races. The 2nd most request race for the Alliance is Sethrak, before BFA even launched, when it became obvious the horde would be getting Vulpera.
Yet afterwards they added Kul Tirans and Mechagnomes, who are the 2 most underplayed races in game.
At that point, I would rather take popularity over distinction.
This is someone who doesn’t know WOW lore, else they wouldn’t say that.
Not a single race in WOW is unoriginal.
Humans - Descended from giants who were Robotic Stone and Metal giant guardians of the Mechanical gods who made the world.
Elves - Descend from Trolls. Have mini tusks if you look closely.
Trolls - Proto-elves might be related to raptors.
Why did this thread get flagged? The original post had nothing wrong and this is a forum for any general idea someone has. I can’t believe people would be so against someone wanting to play as the high elves on the alliance when that already exists.
Spam
This is not spam. Someone stated their opinion on a common response to an issue. It seems that some people want a legitimate answer to be hidden because it takes into consideration a common objection.
I am fully aware that the two groups are different political entities.
I am fully aware that when an Alliance player asks for High Elves that they are asking for Silver Covenant Elves and not High Elves that call themselves Blood Elves.
However, they are both High Elves. There is no argument here. They are exactly the same biologically speaking.
The Horde has a playable version of this race. Because of that, the Alliance cannot have the Silver Covenant as a playable race. The political divide between Blood Elves and the Silver Covenant Elves is not a difference that makes them distinctive enough from one another to allow them to be playable on the Alliance either through introducing the faction wholesale or by allowing Void Elves to look like Silver Covenant elves.
I know you have heard this all before. I am humoring you at this point and maybe it is just a morbid curiosity of mine to see how you’ll twist it, but I know you’ll respond with something that parodies a real argument.
That is your opinion, there are already a multitude of threads that are up for the topic. Most people want to just mute High Elf threads so they flag it for spam since a mega-thread that already has a way expanded version of this idea that is constantly being bumped up exists. Then they mute it.
I can’t even flag if the post was already flagged by the community…
Alliance Elves post should get authors banned permanently.
Thank you.
