apparently, people are so happy with ion saying blood elves are high elves that immediately any desire to play alliance blue-eyed quel’dorei is shut down with an offer to play blood elves or void elves.
ok. I’m tired of that argument. I want to play as part of the silver covenant. call it race or whatever. I just want to play as an alliance loyal blue-eyed uncorrupted member of the silver covenant. standing behind vereesa in that particular suramar scenario where they stand apart from blood elves. and yes there are more silver covenant members than there are void elves so no arguments regarding their small numbers.
Silver covenant High Elves, and most other High Elves, are on the Alliance and are not a Horde Faction, Blood Elves are, so this:
Is factually incorrect and misleading.
No one on the Alliance is trying to play a Blood elf on the Alliance, if we wanted to do that, we’d play Void elves, who are quite literally Void infused Blood Elves.
And more importantly, are not on the Horde, so it is not “a Horde group”.
You do not own something you never had.
Too bad we already do.
But again, High Elves are not a Horde Playable group, it’s an actual ignorance of lore and nuance to claim as such my dude, Blizzard has actively explained that they are a separate group from the Blood Elves, you claiming otherwise is false.
I’m good, I’ll keep asking for the group of High Elves no one has and is an established Alliance race and I encourage OP to do so as well.
I seriously don’t understand why everyone wants helves… all they are is your typical unoriginal fantasy race. The only race less original than elves are humans. Then again, blood elves and humans have the highest populations, so I guess the majority of people are boring.
I’ve yet to see any logical explanation by any of the highelf fan fanatics as to why they so badly must play:
The story isnt even that compelling and there are far more amazing warcraft histories out there…
Honestly I dont even blame them…I blame the author that so badly wanted to make his character marry a windrunner that he wrote up Veressa just to be his wife…and I blame the creative team that thought it was a good idea to make end-game WoTLK showcase Silver Covenant vs Sunreavers…what a terrible decision that ended up being since it caused so much confusion…
Popping in to inform people that blood elves are high elves, and that the alliance will not be getting a carbon copy of a Horde race. And now I’m muting the thread. You all have fun.
Not when you continue to lie about the actual High elves people are asking for, not your Blood Elves
That is the case, we have your Blood elves.
Realistically? About 4 to 5 months, since the AR system was recently introduced and had races planned all the way through Vulpera and Mechagnomes until they said they would “take suggestions”.
You seem to be stuck on the part of the argument that was hashed out a year ago, guess you just come in, post lore-nuance-ignoring, farm for the likes then bail hu?
That’s a swell opinion, you’re wrong, but go off sweetheart
It’s pretty sad to see so many people cherry pick lore for their Horde-centric point of views.
Bingo. I would love the Alliance to get interesting races. Blizzard should have made the Void Elves come from the Silver Covenant and dealt with that faction of Elves officially. And adding in High Elf customization would be a decent enough start, considering with the Void Elves joining the Horde there would be no reason for them not to also tie into the Silver Covenant.
Also yeah, this thread is just spam at this point.
You do not have playable High Elves. If your counter to that statement is “Void elves” then I suppose this thread is over and everyone is happy right?
Don’t lie to yourself. Alliance players have been requesting playable High Elves since before TBC or are you revising history now as often as you contort and twist the lore to meet your ends?
The Silver Covenant was created for one singular purpose; to serve as a narrative foil to the Blood Elves - the continuing legacy of the High Elves.
If you want to play a Horde race, you will have to play on the Horde.
This is a lie. No one is asking for Blood Elves, OP actively stated he wanted Silver Covenant High Elves, who are an Alliance faction.
You continuing to push the idea that we’re asking for “your Horde race”, is a lie.
You’re right we don’t. You don’t as well, your group is called Blood Elves.
Sorry you don’t know enough lore to understand that, I’m also sorry for anyone having to read your misinformation and think you’re telling a truthful story when you’re just misleading people into thinking High Elf fans want your Blood Elves.
But we do have your Blood Elves, they were painted with void and given to the Alliance, they’re still Blood Elves.
I’m not, that’s literally what Blizzard said.
You think anyone realistically expected High Elves to be given to the Alliance after Blood Elves?
The AR system is the perfect way for it to happen, and they haven’t been taking fan requests into consideration since after the release of the latest 2 ARs, it’s laughable to think this has been a 13 year thing for Blizzard to consider, it’s been a few months, keep being cute.
