Sigh loot in cn

4 a month from currency would be an improvement. Especially if they were things you could pick and not RNG.

The “average” of 4 a month across players means some people can get bupkiss while others are swimming in loot like Scrooge McDuck.

4 a month was an example number.

The actual average PVE loot rates are:

Raiding only(1 Full clear): 2.5 items per week

M+ only (10 timed M+s): 5 items per week

Raid and M+ (Full clear/10 time M+s): 6.5
items per week

Numbers include great vault loot, repeat items, and downgrades

Or you can, you know, start to PvP? There are options.

That’s all well and good, and while it seems to feel great for the people who are at the high end, it stinks for the ones on the low end. A currency option would at least guarantee something that can be an actual upgrade to work towards. Even if it’s somewhere slower than the RNG loot average.

No the problem is the disconnect between what the player base wants and what Blizzard has decided they value more than happy players. Namely MAUs

To get a specific Mythic raid ilvl piece of loot in BFA took doing +10s every week for 5 weeks…if you didn’t do +10s it took much longer.

That is how blizz does vendors

But you could get a random piece in a slot you need much faster

That player base doesn’t even know what it wants…how can there be a disconnect.

Question 1: How long should it take you to achieve full BiS gearing?

No one can agree on the answer other than saying not fast enough

True, but that 2 weeks and had a high chance of being a downgrade.

And that is at the high end players doing +10s and higher.

You average player took much longer.

Where are you getting those averages?

2.5 a week? I’ve had two items total since the raid launched both of which were cloaks. Only three items on two toons over 84 M+ clears so far mostly on time. The vault and pity loot trades are where everything else has come from.

If my vault had failed me even once I’d be massively undergeared for my content level but I’ve been lucky so far…

You mean, you got a vault piece each week.

I’ve gotten drops, but none of them save my boe boots were an upgrade. They were for my lego slot. I’m legit not wearing a single piece of h Nathria gear that’s dropped outside a friggin boe I could have sold.

It’s all been the vault.

If anything is a loot piñata, it’s PVP with the currency.

The specic math there is that you get 30 pieces of loot for 20 raiders =1.5 per raider + 1 from the vault.

Some players will get more and others will get less but the average will stay the same

Except we do. Trolls on the forums notwithstanding. That’s awfully close to don’t you even have phones?

To answer your inane question, it entirely depends on what level you’re playing on, but by this point I should outgear heroic raid substantially. I should be 220 at least. (Last bosses ilvl). But my progression level is different than others. An LFR player should be whatever LFR Denathrius level is.

You don’t get to count the vault towards the raid anybody doing M+ is not going to take the raid slot

You’re choosing to be loot starved by forgoing mythic + then. Try 15s. Rets are good up there. Get a free 226 for doing just 14s even, if you don’t want the infinitely farmable 210s from 15s

Also wtf your char has so much lucky loot from heroic CN are you joking me???

I’d say it was easier to do +10s then with corruption than now.

A flat ilevel boost is still going to be an upgrade for a lot of folks in the current situation.

So at 8 weeks into an expansion everyone should be at least at the ilvl of the content there are doing?

So you are asking for enough gear to fill 18 slots with appropriate ilvl gear which means more than 2 upgrades per week.

To make that work they would either have to specifically target upgrades or the raid would have to drop 300-400 items per run

Assuming they are running the level of content I am yes. With as many Mythic pluses at the Level I am doing and the raid kills, I am doing yes I should be at least 220. You have no idea what you’re talking about and this is why no one is bothering to answer your question

300-400 items per raid would be 15-20 items per person. Bad math.

No one is answering my question about how fast people should gear because I don’t know what I’m talking about?

How does that make any sense? Maybe it is because what you are asking for is implausible

Except it’s not, and no you don’t know what you’re talking about, it’s obvious Because everyone has a different answer. And anyone Who would ask that question clearly does not understand how looting works or how different people have different gearing paths.
