Just saying, the game is always gonna be WoW lol.
They could make new dungeons, but I assure you they’ll be using familiar mechanics lol.
I don’t mind the old stuff, nostalgia is my drug.
It’s why I’m still playing WoW, after all lol.

I don’t care about mechanics!! I want to see new themes, art, new assets, new stories.
Fair enough. I’m honestly looking forward to the next patch, whatever it may contain.
DF’s patches were pretty good.
I dunno, as a healer for 10+ years now, I can tell you from experience that melee is the group that least wants to move out of mechanics. One of my most vivid memories of this are the swirlies spawning under melee on mythic Skolex in Sepulcher of the First ones and having 3/4 of them dead because they couldn’t be bothered to move. Followed by “I swear I was out of that!” We didn’t have that problem with ranged. Of course that’s just my own personal experience.
Rogues are especially notorious. If I had a dollar for every time I heard “let’s see if Cloak works on this…” followed by a gruesome death, I could buy myself a really nice steak dinner.
dude unironically though WHY THE HELL DO I ALONE HAVE TO SWIM
and the chuds in pug groups dont believe you if you tell them
I play with blue light filters and the last boss is repeatedly knocking you while you’re trying to see stuff around you. It’s a mess
Oh no sometimes I have to play the game
I manage it’s just that I run into this so damn often. Like the crane area in De Other Side. Modern content shouldn’t be having this problem.
To me the thing that *really drives home how out of touch they are * is the fact that Siege is in the dungeon pool and somehow is NOT the worst dungeon in the list.
It may be because they wanted to experiment with having range run around more, if I had to guess. Melee looks easy from a distance, but when you’re right in the trash-packs themselves, there’s a lot of dancing involved. puddles here, a conal there, an aoe bladestorm there, and that’s without things like volcanic or sanguine affix. Things can get pretty spicy.
I haven’t noticed a lot of dungeons that pull things like this though specifically, so maybe they just kind of let it stand alone in its way. My mage is 78 and still getting used to that life.
my favorite is the scout that constantly keeps hopping backwards as if somehow his legs don’t work, the fact it’s still a thing from 6 years ago…
I get stuck on small floor lips all the time so annoying and fixable
Shadowlands says hi.
Oh yeah totally like, you know, this is the only dungeon in the entire game with mechanics that ranged have to move for. Crazy right?! I couldn’t believe it either, but its actually true

/sarcasm =D
Lol no the reason it’s included in “why siege of boralus is terrible” is because of the absolute sheer quantity of things you have to move for as ranged. It’s… incessant.
You mean like the cloth they put over corpses at crime scenes? Because hopefully Blizzard will kill that dungeon too lol
Obviously. You think I ran the dungeon, had that happen to me, and then wasn’t thinking to myself okay I will do it a different way next time? Lol
What do you not understand about getting glitch-forced underneath the boat through absolutely no, and I mean literally zero, fault of my own? Lol. I have it on video, I was recording that dungeon. I need to make a youtube channel just to upload this sh-… stuff… to show you lol.
I would be entirely fine if they just deleted iron hook from non-boss encounters, or changed it to only yoink the farthest away player instead of everyone.
When ranged dps characters like warlocks or shamans are restricted to mostly casting with very few instant casts, you cannot constantly move and be effective. Especially since bliz designed many spells which have long cast times. So mocking a casting class like you have just makes you look silly.
yeah, people who only play melee either don’t know cast times exist, or think we have boatloads of powerful instants we can use while moving.
I don’t think he cares about the fact that particular glitch happens so often its insane. Even when I ran it at level, we had an issue that when you got yanked under anything it did not have anything to do with positioning because I got yanked even though I was on solid ground.
The only good thing about this M+ rotation is that I can outgear them with delves to the point of making KSM a faceroll later in the season.
M+ is back burner material for S1.
