Again, the only time we see that is when they shoot the people who are chopping down their forests on sight. Not just random people minding their business.
Tyrande was a good person. That’s what made her interesting.
She flipped Night Elf society on it’s heads. And she did it with the full support of their goddess.
Tyrande Whisperwind was a great character. They ruined her because they pushed her too far into the romance cycle with Malfurion. Sure romance makes the story great, but they made the Mal/Tyrande romance such a central part of their character arch. That’s why Tyrande is failing as a character, not because she’s too nice.
Tyrande Whisperwind is the Chosen of Elune. Elune protected all life on Azeroth during the beginning. The only time I can recall when Elune actually attacked something was the Naga and that was because they were made by a deal with the Old Gods.
Tyrande should go back to her roots and be more kind. She’s priestess of until recently, one of most caring goddesses in the entire game.
Tyrande now embodies everything I dislike about the Night Elves. She embodies how blizzard forgot the Lore they constructed for them so long ago in Warcraft 3.
She is a poor excuse for a leader. She is yet another Alliance leader who will continue to be a plot device instead of an actual person.
But that’s all the Alliance is good for at this point anyways. Giving the Horde more story.
imminent genocide wasn’t as clear with the war of the ancients as it was with Teldrassil being burned. Elune is rather worthless as a deity, when compared to ancients and loa whom actually assist their adherents.
Because Elune is greater than the ancients and the loa.
Malorne fell in love with Elune during the first night on Azeroth according to the Tauren. But… there is no writing of where Elune came from, yet we know Malorne came from Azeroth. So Elune may have always existed. You know what also always existed according to WoW lore, the Light.
She’s either a titan… a light lord… or she’s the Light.
As poorly written as that part of the story was, you’re remembering it wrong, she actually beat Nathanos, killed his Valkyr and forced him to flee the continent.
She 100% did not lose that fight atall. She should have outright killed him and he never should have even put up a fight, but lets not pretend she didn’t kick his @ss out of Kalimdor.
This was some of the Night Elves. One person says one thing Xenophobic and some leaders have different opinions, so this is now how the entire Kaldorei Kingdom thinks in this context? No.
How is this representative of all Night Elves? You can see them bickering as well. Night Elves and Tauren, along with Furbolg even as allies, worked together.
This is what I’m talking about like I said before. The wrong logic always being thrown around:
Tyrande is a Mary Sue now, she just fawns over her man. Her man is the most powerful Druid yet does nothing with that power. They’re both simps. If I were a Nelf I would not want these two leading me anymore. The Nelfs have lost their teeth because of those two. They used to be a race to be feared. Now they’re just laughed at and not taken seriously.
Elune doesn’t care about mortals enough to involve herself in their wars. She is beyond that, unless it’s Tyrande.
We’re talking about a being that Khadgar said created the Prime Naaru. Everything my character Luuni believes in for her entire religion may have been created by Elune.
Elune’s out here creating entire societies and religions. Why would she intervene unless the Night Elves would all die? The only time she bothered with Tyrande was when it was 100% certain she’d be dead unless Elune did something.
That was the leadership of the Night Elves at the time and it was a common sentiment, to the point Malfurion even tried a ‘well you wouldnt understand, you’re not a night elf’ when Rhonin thought it was absurd.
I meant in death toll. Zin-Azshari was almost entirely purged of life in the first few hours and it was a massive city, far larger than the population of Teldrassil. Elune didnt interfere in the war for months during which thousands of times more elves died than in Teldrassil, and even then her only assistance was protecting Tyrande.
