Should the WoW forums have your highest progression achieved in the season under your portrait?

Why stop there? Display the players real name, home address, birthdate, SSN, and net worth. Then the forums heroes can really weed out other players that shouldn’t be allowed to have opinions.

Gotta include credit score, college and high school GPAs, and favorite dessert too just to be sure.

But why would you want to do more world quests?
It’s only due to some reward, not actual gameplay they provide.

Dragonriding races I can see, but that’s niche category. (Also, not dependent on world quests).

Been working a lot.

I can yeah its a thing of logging in and out and it usually fixes it.

If the max they dropped was Champion 4 but they left crest drops the same, people would cap at 606 in a few weeks then stop playing, just like they did before delves existed. That isn’t what Blizzard wants. The entire point is to keep casuals subbed.

If the max they dropped was Champion 4 but they buffed crest drops, delves would become a more efficient crest farm than m+. Even fewer people would run low keys and delvers would be able to grind their way to 619 weeks to months sooner than they are now. It would then be easier to farm runed crests to convert to gilded, which would result in more delvers being able to craft their way to 630+.

Neither of these options is superior to the current system.

The issue is the content is just not as engaging. Blizzard seems to want to look at things that seems to be more about punishing people rather than engaging people. We see this as recent with the Siren Isles.

So, to keep people sub, Blizzard is just rewarding people with gear instead of fixing up the content to get people wanting to engage with it.

Because it used to be like this, from TBC all the way up to MoP. (I would say Vanilla, but never played back in Vanilla). Make content engaging, and encouraging people to do the content for the better rewards.

Here’s why I’m against this thread’s proposition: Fallacies.

A fallacy is a failure in reasoning that results in an invalid argument.

Here’s a list of fallacies:

Now what do fallacies have to do with this proposition?

Basically it will mislead people into two types of fallacies:

Ad Hominem - “Attacking the arguer instead of the argument”.

  • A less accomplished player’s valid argument will be disregarded because they aren’t “l33t” enough.

Appeal to Authority - “An assertion is deemed true because of the position or authority of the person asserting it”.

  • A faulty argument from an accomplished player will be accepted because they are “l33t” enough.

So yeah, I’m against it. This proposal would degenerate the quality of the discourse in these forums even further.

I wouldn’t be opposed to more profile customization options.

You care too much about things that don’t matter.

Sounds like rewards for other content should be increased. You shouldn’t be in favor of taking something away but bringing other areas up.

Disagree.

Has nothing to do with the drops, but the content itself.

Are you seriously that hostile towards others when they have a different opinion than you?

Lucrend is also on record being against increasing ilvl rewarded in other content.

That explains the hostility then from them.

No, the issue is when people lie.

That’s it.

What’s really disturbing is the number of people in this thread saying, “No, people should be allowed to lie freely without anyone knowing they’re lying.”

Today I learned that if I say “you should ask for other content rewards to be brought up instead of tearing down one content rewards” it’s “hostile”.

Like what the actual…

It is the context you’re putting it in, twisting words around because you don’t agree with someone else. That is being hostile.

If it raises the overall ilvl range, absolutely.

How did I twist anything? You said delve rewards should be lowered.

Yes, lowered in Delves. Not removed as you have said:

Why do you care if the overall ilvl range is increased?
