The attitude I’ve seen in hunter threads is that hunters who only like marksman out of the current specs aren’t valid and should just respec BM and suck it up, despite not liking BM.

If world quests gave better loot, I could do world quests faster and thus would do more of them. If you think that the ideal is to provide very little content but require a great deal of time for the people on the pavement to earn barely adequate gear, that’s an opinion.
Is that why you make up excuses to why Blizzard disagrees with you? Sounds like a lot of coping to me.
I mean, isn’t Blizzard going to nerf the rewards in the next major patch for delves? Or is this speculation?
Ion said he’s happy with delves giving hero gear. Doubt it’s going to change but it is Blizzard so we’ll see what happens.

Because the majority of people complaining either don’t play MM or only play it solo.
Reality is these changes have been required by most MM hunters because of the issues in group content. Group content is the prio over solo content when balance and class design happen.
Considering it is confirmed that T11s will provide a limited amount of gilded crests it seems that the opposite is happening actually.

I mean, they always say one thing, but do something else, so can’t really say nothing is, or isn’t going to change anyways.
But in my honest opinion, and I do agree with Snozay on this, delves are very trivial, and the rewards are higher for how trivial it is compared to other content such as Mythic+ for example.
And there’s that dismissiveness again. Are solo players not valid MM players? Why should they just have to live with changes pushed for by bigwig competitive players? Why not push for a solution that makes both camps happy? This isn’t a zero-sum game, no matter how much some want to paint it that way. Nobody has to have their preferred playstyle put out to pasture.
I only play hunters as alts but I sympathize because mage solo utility got absolutely destroyed with The Great Pruning in WoD and has only recently mostly been restored. Nobody should have to see that happen to their class/spec.

Hard to do when people are so tribal about dumb things that making the other side happy makes them unhappy even if they got what they wanted.

God forbid solo players have anything. M+ has become a ridiculous sweatfest thanks to the key squish. Now instead of asking for better M+ rewards, it’s “take things away from the solo players”.

I didn’t dismiss anything. I’m simply stating the fact that when it comes to balancing and game decisions group content is the priority not solo content.
Fact is that having a pet for MM is causing balancing issues on top of the interactions in group content with utility.

I was clearing 8s week one. Delves aren’t difficult in any aspect. I just don’t do boring content

Based on what has been datamined, they’re being buffed a bit. People will be able to get 18 gilded crests per week from t11 delves. There also appears to be a deterministic way to get a guaranteed delver bounty once per week. That would mean 3 more gilded crests and an additional piece of hero gear per week.
This is all, of course, subject to change but they are unlikely to go from an overt buff to a significant nerf. It seems that their plan to keep delvers subbed is to give them good rewards but very slowly.

That is not what I am saying. And this is coming from another solo player, because content really does suck this expansion, when you look at the reward from the delves, and then look at the rewards from low keys M+ 3, you’ll see that delves are more rewarding than grouped content compared to the difficulty of M+ is at the moment as well.
I think Delves should reward a Champion 4 at best, instead of Hero.
