They’re doing the opposite, though, like removing the AOTC tier token and giving a Catalyst charge instead - which will have to be used on a piece farmed in M+.
M+ first. M+ always. That’s Blizzard’s design credo, these days.
Incorrect. I have routine conversations with people like Myzrm/Primal/Brewa/Akston where we don’t agree on everything but I still have respectful conversations with them.
When people disrespect me I don’t hold back.
Yet as someone that has done delves I can have an unbiased opinion on them.
The sheer fact that people can do t8s in leveling gear for hero track is a joke.
The original notes made it sound that way, but they changed the wording to make it clear you still only get the 1 charge even if you raid, M+, and PvP.
Raiding, Mythic+ and so on are niche activities for a reason. It costs time, the progression is just seasonal and you could spend your time in doing something with lasting impact, like collecting transmog or doing other content. Most people don’t do such things. And now pair it with a toxic community and you know why it’s declining.
I don’t see a reason to add a “progression”-bar to the profile, but progression means for everyone something else. You see the things you do as pinnacle of wow-gameplay, while others see you as a greenhorn, who can’t even RP or have a proper transmog set.
And some folks only like one or two specs of their class, which is perfectly valid. Arcane has never been my cup of tea for instance, and so if mages were put in a position where both fire and frost are garbage with arcane being the only playable spec, I’d be forced to shelve this character until that changed.
