Should the WoW forums have your highest progression achieved in the season under your portrait?

No attitude here. Just how things work in the real world.

How can someone who doesn’t mythic raid have any valid opinion on mythic raiding?

It’s almost as though you think you’ve never posted about other people whose content you don’t do.

Elite players are overrepresented in the forums because they are so invested in the game that they push for changes that will benefit them while being bad overall for the majority of players. Which would be bad for the game.

Feel free not to push for changes that will be bad for the game.

Anyone who still has the patience to talk to Snoz(insert suffix here) deserves respect.
Kudos to you.

On-topic, if people want to be elitists, they should at least know that this isn’t the forum for that.

Reducing rewards is NOT bad for majority of the players.

Harder content rewards better rewards is something the game operates on since Vanilla. It only breaks in two places: M+ and Delves.

And m+ and delves both still follow the same principle: harder content gives better rewards.

If people on the forums had their way, they’d have best in slot from world quests. Since rewards for m+ and delves both cap out at way too easy of a level, for someone else’s content to be more rewarding, others have to be less.

Translation: “If only Blizzard would eliminate real rewards for those other players who don’t deserve them, they would start to play wow for love of the game only, while continuing to fund development of my own content, which should shower me with power and bling.”

Right.

Rather higher ilvl is not necessary for enjoyment. Once people attain said ilvl, they become bored. Giving them higher ilvl, just leads to them being bored with higher ilvl. What they need is content, but people consume content at a far faster pace than it is possible to be developed.

There’s nothing that can soak up lots of time seen as worth it.

If world quests gave mythic raid level loot, are people going to be playing more? If anything, most people will play less.

So that would X :person_shrugging:

Of course, because appeal to authority or expertise is a guaranteed way to win an argument with no possible logical fallacies.

I’m not.

Being blunt and not sugarcoating things doesn’t mean I have an attitude.

Side affect of working in the trades.

Is an excuse to be rude and condescending. The mark of a narcissist. Socially inept. Which is it?

All of the above?

I’m not sorry that you can’t handle being wrong.

That’s your only response to everything huh? “You’re wrong” “Wrong” “Wrong” How about you try some new material. Not only are you arrogant, condescending, and rude you’re also boring.

I would rather see progression on toons in game, 10,000+ achieve points then you have a green star next to your name, 20,000+ and you get a red star, 30,000+ for a gold star etc…

And next to that star is a tiny little sword, whos color is determined by how far you have progressed in the current season.

I will settle for no less than a scratch n sniff sticker.

I mean when you actually prove a point with substance that’s not completely wrong I can respond just fine.

However you lack that in any conversation we have ever had.

You just need to realize that some people have better game knowledge than you do.

The problem is you think you’re right every single time. You dismiss and condescend to everyone’s opinion that doesn’t align with your own.

Where have I said that? While I am right a good portion of the time I have zero problems admitting when I’m wrong.

Incorrect. I dismiss people that have zero credbiiity on the discussion.

If someone doesn’t raid at a mythic level I’m not going to take their opinion seriously on a conversation about mythic raiding.
