Should the WoW forums have your highest progression achieved in the season under your portrait?

from what ive seen a lot of people are embarassed about their progress in the game or something idk, it’s crazy how people insist that something like btags will somehow give someone ur irl info though lol.

Open new tab. Go to armory. Search person who responds. See entire history.

Done in 10 seconds.

We don’t need the forum cluttered up with that when it’s easily accessible already.

Also: nice job with the bites on this troll thread.

I’m going to hazard a guess that a large percentage of people play a hunter, even if it’s just an alt.

It’s not a topic on end game content. It’s a spec for a class that is used in all types of different content, from the most casual content to Mythic raiding.

This is difficult for people who don’t understand hidden profiles. Can basically check my mount collection to confirm all of my claims of progress. Without actually adding that many steps but if a click is too much for you then you probably pay for carries.

And they can even spend an extra 30 seconds and check Raider IO, Wowprogress, etc.

There should be a score for “how many players from friends list have you joined for group activities in the past month”. The more people worked on that one, the less griping we’d see in forums I bet.

I do think that little bit of extra effort helps a lot because it can still be used to expose frauds, but not being prominently displayed next to people’s names helps to prevent the forums from getting hierarchical.

Well, close enough I guess. What should I do about these ghosts in my blood?

I remember back on the old forums it would put our PvP rank symbol beside our names, maybe it would be cool if we could select a few things to be displayed under our profile, like title used, favorite mount and achievement we are most proud of or something?

Less of a “proof of how awesome i am” and more of a way show a little more of ourselves thing?

Anyone who wants to know what I do (and don’t do) in this game can inspect my armory.

What a joke of an attitude.

You need a 1 week carribean cruise. It might not cure you, but you will have fun.

It would be for the current season? What if someone had a Algalon kill during tier 8? What if someone reached 3500 IO but it was 2 seasons ago? What if someone reached 5 straight glads but that was in Legion and BfA?

Like for me it would be

Kimlyn
2607
3/8M
0/0 PVP
?

That doesn’t really say what experience I have overall does it?

I write most dumb comments off when it’s a grand claim or a dumb opinion. Even if someone is doing x/y/z content, if they’re making a dumb statement then it’s a dumb statement.

I mean, if you have participated in very little content from Delves, to m+ to raid, you probably don’t have a valuable opinion on it.

Like me for instance, I do not do alot of open world content, so I really do not have much to add on that front.

What you really mean is that it would allow people to dismiss opinions and arguments they don’t like simply because of the source. You know what that’s called? It starts with an ad hominem and ends with an appeal to authority.
