I’m not a drone repeating the same information as fact. I’ve not even ventured a guess on AV win rates, and if I do I’ll make it very clear that it’s anecdotal.
Ya, the Taco Bell day shift supported by the Walmart night shift. You can have your game, it sucks and anybody worth the air they’re breathing is starting to see that message glaring at them.
Anyone who calls a coordinated queuing cheating isn’t worth having a discussion with. Blizzard could have simply removed the ability to see the game number when the queue popped and let the order that you queue apply and things would be fine.
At this point, the Alliance players who actually like PvP are stuck with the people who don’t; and even those who like it are completely disgusted with the state of Alliance PvP. It’s an untenable situation that Blizzard must fix if they want this game format to survive.
It’s not Blizzard’s fault that the Alliance refuses to change up their strategy. Every AV starts the same way. “Wipe them at Bal and rush IBGY”
We have need to change things up a bit. Cap and defend… Also defend out base.
Blizzard can’t fix stupid.
Alliance “premades” were basically pugs aside from the very top tier marshal groups which were very few and far between. As such they were balanced aside from those groups. Alliance has a rampant afk lecher problem because of our fast queues and since blizzard no longer moderates their games it was the only way alliance had to handle the afk problem.
The epic mount req was the thing people cried about the most but it was really our only way to combat hordes blatant map advantage. Even our tier 2 games would win about 50/50 which shows you how imba the map really is.
I suggest everyone just ignore Leafblight. He’s horribly biased and irrational.
I would argue that is kinda how Vanilla AV is supposed to be. A big 40man pug. The Horde have to deal with the same people on their side too…and have managed.
Blizzard may or may not have been completely fine with only 1 side being able to circumvent the PuG nature of AV…but the Alliance ruined it for themselves the moment they started to abuse the report feature.
You actually have no idea what you’re talking about and you prove it in every post. Everyone should also ignore Cauchy as he is also heavily biased and ignorant.

Very much this. Even in premades, I won ~50%. It just got together players who were interested in PvP and were willing to listen or take charge.
The top-tier marshal groups were churning through games so fast, that from the Horde’s point of view…they were more than half of the games we saw.
I agree with this. And it should be addressed before any other changes.
The problem with looking strictly as win-percentages, is that Alliance premades were not actually playing to win, they were playing for the highest honor/hour…the correct choice for them was to lose quickly too. They could have won a huge majority of their games if they stalled them out…but chose not to.
Do you even AV? Alliance try a lot of different strats hoping to find one that sticks.
Then there’s the horde strat. Zug zug stone hearth every single time. No variance.
good idea let the allys premade av once again…no.
Which honestly points to more map imbalance. T2 games should’ve been rofl stomping the horde honestly. But the map is stacked heavily in hordes favor.
Also you failed to address the most important part of my post which is “blizzard refuses to moderate their game”. Let’s be honest, they’re just cashing out at this point. Changes have nothing to do with balance and game health and everything to do with $$
Remember when they fired 800 employees after their most profitable earnings report? Let’s remember who is total crap here… it’s not the Alliance or Horde.
Rightttt and did you see what they did to the wc3 community? You know all those custom games we know and love? Yup. Gone.
I don’t necessarily agree. While the “t2” premades were guaranteed to not have any AFKers in them, they were also guaranteed to not have anyone super high-ranked in them either. And they still were not “playing to win” They were playing for the best honor…which some times including losing on purpose. That is why you cannot look at win-percentage as a metric, they were not playing to win.
Perhaps. I think addressing bots will do a lot to help. Any speculation on their motives is still just speculation. They have had plenty of other problems to deal with including players deliberately griefing each other…that is where I believe their resources are going right now. However, that is just speculation.
Go To Retail
Amen brother
I think really you fail to realize that the real problem is there being no incentive for you, the avid pvp fan, to stop compounding the racial imbalance and roll alliance.
Horde really should’ve been made to deal with any and all annoyance they created in pvp to encourage more pvpers to play alliance.
I mean really let’s be honest, your greatest pvp achievement means nothing because you have a blatant advantage in every format.
your trash git gud
