Bots farm gold that is banked and only injected through RMT which is being banned right now.
This was a direct injection into the active playerbase. The scale of gold put into the game over those 8 hours is easily more than all of the RMT gold in circulation post GDKP removal.

Are you sure about this? Vanilla exploits include unlimited mining, immortality, recycling chests.

quest rewards are not exploits. Get over it.

Oh no not my parses! Crazy how im still clearing content though. Since this is the easiest version of a 20 year old game they’ve ever released and its for people with little play time and look at you out here being so serious.

Rolling the servers back because some people got more gold is a silly reason. The gold will give them a short term advantage but will be negated by inflation in the long run. Compared to something like a title which is permanent.
This is every game. Day 1 players in every video game get all the good stuff.

I exploited the felslate glitch in legion, made a million gold doing it, got a 1 week ban and kept all the gold. They do not care…period.

I am level 50 and agree they should roll back. It will suck for me to relevel but if they did it across the board I would agree.

you should make a game where you overtune quest rewards, leave it up for several hours, then instead of just hotfixing it like a normal person you do a server rollback when its not even an exploit and the majority of players didnt even do it, i’m sure that will go well
Honestly you guys are taking theses servers way too seriously. We are making classic plus right now together. Forging something better for the future. Just like SOM I would not putt it past bliz to let us choose to go to classic or cata over this. Even though apart of me really has no desire to make more scarab lords or ashbringers I just assume they are gonna do it. So we can come out with a classic plus with tons of new content and hopefully no exp bonus.and no runes… I’d love a no rune server. I know I’m a minority here but I do love the hard work going into this game. And I like the fact that we are all beta testing this game together every time we play it. Nothing to quit over. I also really wish iron soul was in this version of the game. I really wanted to play SoM again seeing as I missed out on all of it.
