Given MG has a constant 2000-2500 without counting Horde, Im gonna say youre misusing your addon. The fact that you got a smaller number for Full than High probably should have tipped you off.
Pretending 2-3k is unhealthy just because classic realms are overcrowded doesnt mean much.

That still doesnāt bode well for retail.
Retail will be fine after a new patch and ultimately after the classic people stop hating BfA once new expansion is out, people still play retail and do content regardless this doomsday saying

Everyone saying āI will never play retailā will not stand by that forever, maybe next expansion might grab peopleās attention, maybe next expansion they actually fix the issues because they are taking the feedback from classic and imply it to the next expansion
I mean, some might. I, for one, though, will never play retail again. Itās too far gone. Theyād basically have to undo everything theyāve done to the game in the last 10 years for me to come back.
Since I already have that with Classic, though, I donāt see a reason to ever touch retail again.

Iām playing Classic because itās new. Itās certainly not better than retail though and I will be back to playing retail regularly when my grind in classic is done. Iām honestly extremely bored when I play Classic, iām more in it for the completion and actually want to be done with it.

Despite the fact Iām now entrenched in Classic for years and years to come, Iām still entrenched in retail, even if itās not getting as much attention right now. Thereās only so much time I allow myself to play, and its now split.
Retail does seem extra low lately, but between Classic, the poor reception of BfA on my server group at least, and that weāre well into the 8.2 patch, it makes sense.

The Classic fanboyism throughout the forums has been strong lately.
Iām sure the only reason why Classic has so many players is because itās still new. When everyone is level 60 and has the best gear/mounts in the game it wonāt last long. I find it hard to believe these numbers anyway.

These Servers had all a much larger Population than any retail Server! that was the reason why Blizzard took em down! not the Tbc ones, not the cata ones, not the wotlk ones and not the bfa private Servers!! they only took down the vanilla pservers!!
this was the only reason why we got classic in the first place! because Blizzard wanted These large Player numbers back! and now look at the classic Servers! they are so freakin full that we Need several layers per realm to Keep it playable!
not like on retail were Blizzard puts several Servers together so Players dont think the Servers are all dead xD and even with that cross Server feature it doesnt help much xDDDD
