That doesn’t answer my question, nor does the add on prevent further discussion if that’s what you want.

If the add-on posts in the chat channel for the LFG users I don’t think it will have as big of an impact as it seems. It’s definitely interesting to see the Vanilla spirit and the retail execution meeting in addons. I’m not really sure how I feel about this though, because I’m looking forward to building a reputation on my server, that’s one of the things I am most excited for in Classic and I’m not sure how this will impact it 
Does that addon instantly post(the group) in the chat too? If it doesnt then its gonna be a huge problem. lets say theres 100 people on the realm and 90 use this addon for the other 10 its gonna be pain to find a group and will be force to use the addon too. If it posts in the chat and after you whisper the leader you go to the invite list then its no problem ^^

Well if that’s the case then I’m down for this actually! That seems super useful, especially since there will be a dearth of information flying in the first weeks.
Metagaming is legit, even if it seems stupid when you just casually watch the games.
Last I checked, this functionality existed in the original vanilla addon capabilities and a LFG addon also existed, it just wasn’t popular at all at the time.
For those reasons I don’t see an issue with it. Will I use it? Prob not because I will be in a fairly popular guild and we have various teams already setup for dungeon grinding and leveling.
But I’m not going to shame or have an issue with such addon.
I also don’t have a problem with addons for thing like gear checks and information on players when I want to form pugs.
99% of the people complaining about LFD forget this very important point.

They’ve already said anything like LFG will be broken. If this just compiles text, it’s probably safe, but anything more will be broken. So Blizzard has already put their foot down.

This add-on isn’t what you think it is
It pulls information from people posting in chat channels and then compiles them in another chat channel.
That way you can see people posting in trade even if you are elsewhere.
It is not automated, you still have to whisper people who posted so they can invite you
It’s kind of redundant since most people use the channel /LFG anyway

They really have to do something about this.
Yes LFG is more convenient but we aren’t coming back to get modern convenience.
If it’s easier to find a group it’ll make players more demanding and less patient…

If you don’t want an LFG addon, then you’d better ban anyone that uses discord. Because all the classic realm discord servers have LFG channels that people will flood with groups looking to fill out their rosters. If it’s not /2 ban it!
