I bet there was an LFG addon for actual vanilla jist never got wide spread use.

I dont see the problem here, no instant teleport, no instant group formation, just provides you a list of people who are waiting for groups

Yeah, just click a button to invite people on the list. No need to actually talk to them. Really in the spirit of Classic, right?

i dont see that as a guild. more like a same server lfg addon that blizzard cant break

I see now, it doesn’t seem as bad then. I feel like it should default to using the LookingForGroup channel, or maybe switch between channels by default when it does its periodic messages. I wonder if it would become a little spammy though.

the teleport was never a problem. without that you would have to just sit and wait near the dungeon while you waited for a group. the dungeon finder would have been trash without the teleport

I enjoyed the journey myself, but at least agree it wasn’t the main problem. The main problem was the faceless cross server junk.

That would be against the classic philosophy. Let people play how they want. Addons don’t ruin your experience

my server, nazjatar needed it. was one of the worst realms in the game and there were like 50+ others that also badly needed it

they dont like doing server merges

teleport as it existed in TBC, I was personally fine with… Teleporter as it exists today is garbage… I could jump in retail and teleport to dungeons where I don’t even know what zone or where the entrance is to said dungeon.

That’s not actually true, in this case. While this one doesn’t seem like a huge issue (assuming it just compiles all, “LFG” text) other addons which Blizzard will break could have more of an impact on those who don’t use it.

Some of this is just interacting with the community on a chat channel, or when multiple people whisper you, having a bit of a discussion with them… it just adds a bit more to socialization. Y’know, one of the pillars of Classic.

That would be your choice to not talk to them. I could easily put a message out and chat that says BRD LF1M DPS. Random rogue says hey I am in and then instant invite. That did happen then and will happen now.
