Yep. This facilitates people communicating via global chat channels for form groups, just like in Vanilla. Fantastic addon with authentic Vanilla WoW functionality.

Nope, they said that there would be no Blizzard-created version. This kind of addon is perfectly fine and won’t be stopped by Blizzard.
Hold on, buddy - I never said automated OR click to invite. There were addons that gave you a list and you had to do the work yourself.
People using addon are weak.

And I specifically mentioned addons that emulate modern systems, so what’s your point?
Anything automated or anything emulating systems like they have in modern WoW - like the LFG system.

They really don’t.
This addon is just a slick version of a chat channel with all the groups organized without the clutter of politics, racism, Chuck Norris and Thunderfury memes.

If 60%+ of the players use this addon, they won’t bother anymore to post in the chat.
The addon display an interface accessible to anyone with the same addon, accessible anywhere at anytime. This is an issue

From what I’m reading, this compiles text from people typing “LFG” in a chat channel. Is that not how this works? If that is the way it works, people will still need to type in chat.
Do you even read what you respond to or do you just immediately attack people? I specifically mentioned that this addon is probably safe but anything more wouldn’t be.

You can create you own group from the interface :
Creating Groups
- Groups created using ClassicLFG are visible to all players using it on the Realm.
Looking for Groups
- You can look for groups for any dungeon, but there is also a “Custom” category for world events and more.
Meaning, at some point you can litteraly play ONLY with the others users of this addon by creating/joining group from the addon interface.

That link does not say what you’ve been saying.
It says they will be careful and make sure that these kind of “ social network” addons don’t go too far and that they will find a “middle ground” for them.
So don’t pretend this validates your agenda, it does not.

You can do all of those with this add on. If multiple people apply, feel free to chat with them.
I’ll be using this addon. Typing “Priest healer LFG DM” is not exactly the pinnacle of social interaction, so I’m fine with skipping it.
