you are preaching to the choir, but this is not a Blizzard QoL implementation, this is an addon, like so many during those days that were used or are you planning to raid without a QoL raid add on?!
But hey you want no addons period the end, I’m game.

I don’t see any issues with this.
Blizz said the’d break addons that AUTOMATED things (played the game for you), such as the Decursive macro (does the other parts still work? someone let me know).
This addon has ZERO automation of ANY sort.

If enough people use it, you will basically be forced to.
You will be able to see a person in the Barrens forming a group for WC from Stormwind.
People will be able to form groups simply by opening this addon and creating a group and waiting for other people with the addon to request to join. Without ever typing a word in the chat.
If this becomes widespread it will completely change the forming of groups.

Yes. Heres why. You could join an lfg channel and go about the world but you must always keep an eye on said channel for the dungeon you are looking for.
By consolidating everyonr request. You can take the time to form a group when YOU are ready. That cut out the need for being funny to attract people to your group. Cut out the sense of attitude you get from people in lfg chat. Cause advertisers always try to make their request funnier and funnier when their hard or elitest approaches doesny work.
You will be completely negating the feeling of europhaia a lfg leader would have an anyone who wait with him, when at the 11th hour, a healer say LFG SM Healer.
Instead of waiting for gold to come to you. You are now simply going to the grocery store picking up items from a list.
“Hmm what do i need. Ah look a prot pally? Ewwww no…oh look a warrior much better. Hmmm feral druid? Pass…oh yes! A rouge a mage and shadow priest? Ewwww. No. Ah finally a warlock. Gtg”

They also said they would break any add on that affects the spirit of vanilla, which is the community. This add on breaks the community.
Again. Blizzard themselves don’t want things like this and agree that whole “don’t want it don’t use it” mentallity is bonkers as it still heavily impacts the entire game regardless of if you use it. Soooooo your point is moot! The add on will not be there, or if it is, broken and banned very shortly on release. GG Anyone that has feats about this add on need not worry. Blizzard is on it and agrees with us.

So what? That’s the point.
Folks still have to communicate with each other, just like before.
All this does is remove the need to sit in capital cities spamming chat for hours on end hoping you’d fill a group.
Is part the “spirit of Vanilla” really sitting around doing jack-all for hours on end doing absolutely nothing but spamming chat?
It can’t cross realm or teleport you to the dungeon, thus there is no problem, except the one you are creating in your mind. Btw, an opinion is not “right” or “wrong”. That’s like saying, “the best color is blue. If you don’t also like blue, you’re wrong”.

This is a lie. Blizzard didn’t break this, and had 18 months to do so.

Addon puts the message in chat.
So not automated.
No auto-grouping, porting to instances, etc.
