I’ve read things about the 2p-Tier12 Elemental-Shaman-Set being pretty much overhauled because of the implementation of cooldown-reset after Raid-encounters. There is some info about how it worked in OG-Cata and was nerfed in Dragon Soul-Raid because it being too strong in its OG-state.

Now with the reset-mechanic of Fire-Ele-Totem today it’s quite the opposite. Many Ele-players are pointing that out. Meaning that 2p-Bonus is literally obsolete and the 4p is “just” a QoL thing making Lava Burst an instant cast (if Lava Surge proccs). But this won’t be that useful because Ele will be GCD-capped on Lava Burst anyways. A reassessment of how this was supposed to function post-nerf should be done and addressed. Right now, shamans are looking at not even using their set pieces.

2p bonus

Lava burst increases the duration of fire elemental totem by 2 seconds

4p bonus lava burst can now be casted while moving and lava surge reset chance is increased by an additional 10%.

There, fixed it.

They just need to give us the original 2pc bonus.

It isn’t like fire ele can be controlled anyway and still does so resetting it will just mean it can cover up for it’s horrible AI.

Go look At sims… t12 full heroic bis is a freaking dps loss over t11 4pc.

Karma? Lol. A dps loss equipping t12 vs t11 4 set completely goes against blizz saying they don’t want people having to wear old gear.

Make that 3 buttons when I have to wind shear because melee are inept.

Don’t need it fixed this way, just need it reverted to it’s pre DS state.

They nerfed it in DS so we would use tier 13, but now that it’s in its nerfed state we won’t use t12, so based on that logic they should put it back to it’s pre DS state so we use it over t11.

it wasnt a stealth nerf tho it was 100% there from the launch of cata classic since it was added in the last patch and we are on the final build of the game.

Yeah I’m not sure what he’s talking about it was put in place so we would use tier 13.

But by that logic should be reversed specifically for Firelands so we use tier 12 instead of tier 11 still.

Do you seriously believe Blizzard will revert this change and then backtrack again in a few months, especially when they haven’t even resolved the bugs currently afflicting the game?

Idk you made 20 threads about feral buffs that weren’t even in the game, expecting that Is more outrageous than us asking them to revert a change they made for us to wear t13 so we will wear t12.

It didn’t stop you from spamming the threads about issues you shouldn’t care about and it didn’t stop you from spamming the cata forums section with multiple threads asking for feral buffs.

Feral classes may require a buff, while Elemental Shamans, with their straightforward two-button rotation that requires little skill to top the damage meters, do not need a broken two-piece set bonus.

Maybe if you swapped to ele you would perform higher than the 20th percentile

Feral peaked in ICC, hope you enjoyed that. And that’s because Blizzard over buffed them. Ele has not been good dps all of classic until Cata. I do appreciate the bumps to ele threads though. I’m beginning to think you are an undercover agent sent from the ele discord to bring more attention to the cause. Thank you for your service.
