Shadows Rising: Thrall's thoughts on Tyrande

Same and even unfair seeing how the Horde gets always the short stick and yet we don’t get any compensation(nobody will answer to the troll killing or how orcs are genocided every expansion cause they look cool as trash mobs?)

Perhaps if we start to complain every day at the devs of Blizzard, we might finally get a bone to us

Actually, given that most alliance leaders are kind of “on board” with the idea of peace, starting with Anduin / Jaina, it is strange that we still do not have an option to get more info from humans / dwarfs about more details about those events. It’s not like clearing up misunderstandings could be a problem for the peace some so desperately want.

Strange story, to be honest.

There are plenty options for Horde to show that they aren’t all evil that do not involve kissing the feet of the other faction.

I dunno, Alliance players seem to be fine glossing over everything their faction does wrong. Why not give the Horde playerbase the same option?

Why do you have to diminish our desire for closure, and try and pretend that the Alliance and Horde both have done the same ammount of bad things against each other? Why are you so opposed with us carrying a grudge, or wanting the horde to atone?

After the the various atrocities the horde committed in which they themselves were nearly always the inciting factor? There are not.

@avacado: The alliance hasn’t done anything on the scale of Teldrassil to the horde. Moreover most incidences of the alliance harming the horde is almost always retaliation for a previous wrong the horde committed. In most cases whomever incites or harms another first and then finds themselves being harmed in turn is often called justice. most won’t grieve for a bully when they’re victim final hits back.

 This is brokering zero sympathy. Especially since Alliance players are so quick to hand wave their own misdeeds.

The Horde shouldn’t have to prove to the enemy faction that they aren’t evil. They need only prove to themselves.

If you say so…

You can’t erase the past two years. And trust me, I wish we could.

Never suggested we could or should.

Then you can’t pretend the Alliance isn’t justified in wanting vengeance\atonement. Or maybe you don’t care at all how the other side feels.

Evil is evil, no matter the scale. You just don’t tell people their headache doesn’t matter because you got hit in the nuts by that person a year before. You might not like him but his pain is still real.

Never suggested that otherwise.

I care about as much as Alliance care about Horde, I suppose. What the Alliance seems to keep forgetting is that is Horde had no say in the story.

oh cool, then Teldrassil was justice for Stormheim. Glad we got that wrapped up.

And the attack on the forsaken meeting with Calia? Would that count as an act of aggression by the horde?

Sylvanas is bad and I’m not contesting that. I don’t know what that has to do with anything we’re discussing?

(Though Anduin and by extension the alliance broke the terms of the meeting by bringing in a literal usurper to the peace negotiations)

Agreed, just asking If that was considered a Horde action or not.

As Taran Zhu said it, Reprisal is an act of agression. If faction A keeps doing bad things to faction B on the justification that B started first, both factions will just keep fighting, and is exactly what will always happen in warcraft

The BtS meeting is weird, because if I recall correctly, Sylvanas was very deliberate to only kill Calia (who wasn’t cleared to be there) and her own people. I feel to use that would be to claim that Calia is an alliance character, which is a whole lotta welp for different topics.

At the same time, though, I feel that Sylvanas even agreeing to the talks in the first place showed that she should have been capable of putting Stormheim in the past, or she should never have agreed to the meeting in the first place. So either way it just comes back to horde bad.

And we didn’t ask for the Horde to burn Teldrassil. I know you had no say in anything. That doesn’t mean I don’t want, or won’t demand closure.

Nah. That was for Gilneas. Teldrassil will require something all on it’s own.
